Nice review. I just picked up a 2018 ClA250. My thoughts are the same. Overall nice car and nice for Mercedes to build a vehicle in a more affordable price range with the CLA. Although not premium in some areas, definitely with suspension. The engine build quality and overall drive train from what I can understand remains the same across the board. Thanks for sharing your review, this was nice to see.

@@d.morgan717 For your reference, I bought the dealership maintenance package and I had only been doing regular maintenance or checkup based on MB recommendations. I hadn't sent it in for anything more than that for the three years I had with this vehicle.

Yeah, the lucky owner got it in mint condition with only 9k miles for a 2018 model.

@@PeterSchneemann I did lease it. But I still got to sell it at the end of the term rather than just "returning" it. Many may not realize that as an option. Sometimes (most likely) the value of the vehicle is higher than what the contract estimated. Nice to have some cash back.
@@theaestheticminimalist I did not know that was an option. I would assume that you would not be allowed to sell it, since you are technically not the owner, when you are leasing. But I get it now: the dealership only cares to get back what it’s in the contract, be it the vehicle or the amount they have estimated it for at the beginning of the lease contract. Sorry, for the stupid questions, but I don’t have much experience with leasing. I have the same car now, and I like it but I would prefer to have a Maserati Ghibli, except that it is too expensive to insure and maintain. I also had a Lincoln which I loved. What made you change the CLA? Did you not really like it? Personally I don’t like changing cars, phones, etc. But I guess you bought a newer model. Am I right?
@@PeterSchneemann Technically you can buy out the car and resell it back to the dealer. To skip the back and forth, the dealer will just buy it from you directly.
I went with a 7 seat BLG250 for bigger space and better interior. CLA is just too small for us now that we have two kids.
1/6th of this video was an intro that looked like it took a lot of time to edit/produce, while absolutely making me feel like it wasted 1m23s of my life.
Great content otherwise but constructively recommending you get to the content quicker in these types of videos sir! There is no such thing as free time and that counts for you as much as me!
