I have 4 young kids, and got my wife a new Burban in 2018. Truly the greatest, most practical family hauler on the market. Tows our 30’ travel trailer with absolute ease too.
I just rented a Grand Wagoneer for an extended road trip, covering nearly 2,000 miles. It was nice, but not 6 figures nice. When I went online and specked one out I was shocked it was over $100k. It felt more like 65 to 75k honestly. For over 100K I think the GM triplets are far nicer. Probably more reliable in the long run as well.
95K is ridiculous. What people don't understand is that you don't necessarily get more quality when you go with the higher trims. The MSRP for a base model suburban with four-wheel-drive is right around 65K. The high country has more features but it also has the same cheap plastic all over the interior and cheap build quality. I have a 2023 Yukon SLT and I can literally take apart pieces of the interior. There is so much rattling that it's driving me nuts. I recently found a random rattling coming from the housing for the third row seat belt. I cannot get rid of it. Just have to deal with it. The car has less than 30,000 miles and I got it brand new. Paid right around 71 MSRP, 80K out the door. Engine and transmission might be great but build quality is still far behind what you'd expect for a vehicle that costs that much
That 24 inch wheel is the sexiest wheel I have ever seen. Absolutely love it. My dealer is telling me I can’t get them with the diesel until mid 2025 so I am probably going with a platinum expedition, but I will definitely be picking one of up when available for our family hauler.
💯 Raiti... We're all waiting for the Escalade V video to the drop!... It's been 2 months since the last V video... Everyone is beating you to the punch and #FullThrottle
Wow wow wow! Raiti this is the one! Who knows what the next redesign will be. I would just add super cruise like you said and tint. I’m really digging this spec tho👌🏽
This would be the vehicle to take the family on a vacation trip to the Grand Canyon National Park. Especially with Joe driving and giving everyone an on throttle experience. 😊
I would choose the Suburban over the Expedition or Grand Cherokee. Because these cars are very heavy , I prefer the "tried and true" 6.2 Naturally Aspirated engine; probably more reliable in the long run compared to its competition's small V6 or Jeep's new in-line 6 engines boosted with turbos. Today's Jeeps under Stellantis seems to be plagued with recalls and quality and reliability issues.
Totally awesome and loads of people and cargo room and the High Country has the looks to please, I agree the one thing (for the price) it should come with Super Cruise. Chevy Traverse would be the next step down from this for a smaller family.
I pledge to full-size SUVs and trucks. I just turned 17 and my first car which I got but a month ago is a 2024 Sierra Denali. All red with the black trim. Absolutely beautiful of a truck. I don’t typically call a car beautiful because it’s kind of a weird thing to call a car, but if any car in my opinion is considered beautiful it’s the Sierra.
Joe, how did the 24's do on the ride and harshness/noise etc.? That's the thing that worries me about the larger wheels, even though they look really really good!
The Chevrolet Suburban is a beast of an SUV! It’s known for its spacious interior, making it great for big families or anyone who needs a lot of cargo space.
It's hard to believe that it's already 2025, and the interior design of American cars is still so rough and outdated. The High Country logo is ridiculously ugly, and the design still uses physical shapes. It's the taste of country folk. The engine layout is a mess, and after driving this car, as well as the 2025 Tahoe, the performance is extremely weak.
Style, class, capability and elegance: the Suburban has it all.
You nailed it David!
I remember when you could buy a top of the line suburban for 60-65k..
Definitely want this when I’m older to feel like a soccer dad😂😂
Sounds like a plan
Same ❤
when he said 95 thousand dollars. i knew it was time to pause and come back once i had a better paying job
😂
The column shifter is way better than the buttons. Bravo on that!

The High Country is definitely the way to go with that beautiful brown leather!!

Best reviewer in the business.

Thanks for sharing your honest thoughts on this one
An Armada Platinum is $11k less. I don't think this is $11k more truck
@@stevornrichards1380literally no,one wants an armada
@@decline1129 you out your mind. You haven't seen the review and the positive feedback i see
@@decline1129 An 80k armada at that.
Redesigned suburban is the greatest chevy design ever
Hey, Joe I love this SUV and the color, however I prefer the Tahoe version of this beautiful SUV.😊😊😊.
That’s my choice as well Dejon
OMG FINALLY IT'S HERE!!! THIS MY FAVORITE CAR. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. DEFINITLEY HAVE TO GET THIS
What are 'u'...like 15yrs old??? Is this a poster on 'ur' wall? Waayyy over excited for what this is.

You are hilarious Tony
So exited for u to film the new gmc Yukon and new Cadillac Escalade and the Escalade IQ
Same here for sure

What a beautiful color on that beast of an SUV. The interior ain't too shabby either. Bang on review Joe!

I like "large and in charge", and I like this V8 powered Suburban 😊
You have great taste
💯 Raiti... We're all waiting for the Escalade V video to the drop!... It's been 2 months since the last V video... Everyone is beating you to the punch and #FullThrottle
I like this infotainment better than new yukon, thoughts Joe?
As a full size owner I feel like going full size definitely worth the money.
Thanks for sharing that ownership experience
“Another great day, ridin in this Chevrolet!” Raiti spittin bars again 😂💙
Wow wow wow! Raiti this is the one! Who knows what the next redesign will be. I would just add super cruise like you said and tint. I’m really digging this spec tho👌🏽
Love the review 💯
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video 💯

joe aint playing with his videos
You better believe it

I really love this refresh Joe
Trust me so do I
Yeah of course Joe and also I would love to buy this SUV with this color as well anyways.
Legs seemed higher than they should be in that third row, considering how big that SUV is. And price is insane! Just get an Escalade 🤣
I’ve been waiting for this video foreeveerrrrr ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome full size SUV
Its sad the fact that this particular model iisnt available hete in Ecuador where I live
Greets Joe
Thank you and great video as usual
Looks good despite the price but I absolutely despise all the gloss black.
Absolutely gorgeous chevy suburban joe excellent video 📹
need the 9 seater party bus one Joe
Oh heck yeah
I love the new front end. I wouldn’t mind seen the new Silverado with this front end style.
24’s is crazy
Still not available to configure on the website lol
We bring it before you can even look at one!
I love the suburban but I'm more of a tahoe guy haha ;)
Nice suv 💙💙
the old school shifter remember me my 86 chevy blazer k5
As much as I like the new Suburban and Tahoe, I'm thinking I like the '25 Yukon better. Even then the Escalade!
Totally awesome and loads of people and cargo room and the High Country has the looks to please, I agree the one thing (for the price) it should come with Super Cruise. Chevy Traverse would be the next step down from this for a smaller family.
good job🎉🎉🎉🎉

I agree with you, that a beautiful truck you got.
95K is ridiculous
Sum Bourbon is what you need 💰💰💰 Definitely not Working Man's SUV
I hate new vehicles but the new font ends on the tahoes and suburban look so good they should make the pickups with this front end
2025 Chevrolet Suburban High Country 6.2L V8 10-Speed Automatic 4X4!
You reviewed, but never drove the new Tahoe to give us your opinion!
Joe, how did the 24's do on the ride and harshness/noise etc.? That's the thing that worries me about the larger wheels, even though they look really really good!
Nice suburban Joe I think 95k is ridiculous I personally would love this car if it went for 65 or 70K like the Jeep grand Cherokee L.
Gotcha
Big boy
Why on earth would you want a huge wheel and tiny rubber on a huge SUV?
It’s all about style
@RaitisRides i get it. I rather have a softer ride then worry about style. I prefer Ford but i really like this and the V8. Not a fan of V6 TTs.
2025 Z71 still has 20’s and they ride good I have on my 2013 Tahoe
No car seat tilt on the 2nd row bench is very disappointing.
Suburban should get V6 turbo diesel engine
It’s a straight 6 turbo
Cool Suburban & I dig It. Plz reply
Thanks for always tuning in Luis
@@RaitisRides Yes Joe I am aleays Happy!
This would be great with the 6.6 Duramax
What is super cruise??
GM’s autonomous driving system
Suburban all the way!!
If you want ventilated seats in your mid row, you have to go for a at least Yukon Denali ultimate for $110K.
What do you prefer, Joe? This or the new Armada?
When you said $95,000 I shit my pants 😮😮
AWESOME
nice 3 row luxury family school bus
Dream SUV or the Escalade V
very good affordable economy city car for small familiys 👍
14:32 I need more room 😶
This gigantic vehicle look like it does 2 miles per gallon and weight 10k pounds lol.
That’s a nice Car
I prefer expedition. It is a beast with twin turbo. Two separate screens. Thanks ford!
I wish I could afford the suburban
Can we please go back to 17, 18, 19 inch wheels. Please
The Chevrolet Suburban is a beast of an SUV! It’s known for its spacious interior, making it great for big families or anyone who needs a lot of cargo space.
Beautfiul truck
For that much money super cruise should be standard. That’s a zonk
No vent o massage seats for almost 100k
And it should have massage seats to that’s another zonk.
Isn’t the wagoneer and GW at the same size as this
🤎
Thanks Jimmy for being great
I've always loved the Suburbans...they make awesome limousines...but what's up with the constant snack references? You're making me hungry
Lol😅 Teenage mutant Ninja Turtles I wish the whole truck was lime green color🐢
Code name Mr Freeze
GM does full-size SUV's best, doesn't matter if it's a Tahoe/Suburban, Yukon, or Escalade, they're all great SUV's.
First! Haha
Thanks for the dedication Jonathan
You lost me with no super cruise for 95K. We need alternative to Tesla
Am I first ? Third? Fifth ? Lol
That’s a great question

70k and it’s a steal. 95k? Just get the better Yukon
Now chevy needs to fix their lifter problem and get rid of their BS cylinder deactivation system.
