If you go into Settings and under General and then under UI, the 7th option on the left is the Minimal Floating Name Setting. It's off by Default, but turning it on will turn every Tamed Creature name into a little Footprint above their head instead, that will expand if you look at it.
@twex7904 ark additions are there, it's been split up to the individual dinos tho and not all are there yet. They are always on page 1 of the mods list cos they are featured
Reminds me when was I an admin for a ASE unofficial cluster and discussing things with the Server Host. We all felt caves were getting a bit to boring, so I suggest why not swap out the cave spawns with some "fan favorites" Microraptors, pegos, ichys and bloodstalkers, and their reactions of abject horror were priceless.
Build 2x2 taming pens coming off the sides of the box. That way, you can have multiple tames going and don't have to worry about not having space or getting knocked off because you'll have space in the middle to stand while knocking stuff out.

Hot take, tamed beavers should build their own dams if you have them on wondering near water. They could definitely make it balanced plus look at the new dung beetles. They are OP!
I've said it before and i'm gonna say it again. That exact reason is why i leave the high tames at base and take the meat bags because losing one of them is fine as ive got the high level parents at base pumping out more meat bags which are bred to be sacrificed.
My first ASA Swamp Cave experience was similar... had a frog for literally 30 minutes. 4 arthroplueras came out of the walls further in the cave and all sniped me at once. 🙃
I'd say the Doed is indigo, which can essentially be called blurple as you did lol. Apparently this blue was possible to have on Doeds in ASE, just incredibly rare.
Every time I get tempted to go into the swamp cave for a cementing paste run, I remember losing my first ever 150 frog the first time I ever tried to run that cave. Now i just hop around and kill surface bugs. More fun and get to explore, plus I use it to check for other high level swamp dinos.
Structures to Build • Hunting Blinds ... Pillars and a single ceiling as floor with 4 walls-doors and ceiling. From each door a catwalk or another ceiling. Blinds overlooking Swamp open areas.
I'm only at the 6 minute mark so maybe you figured out a different solution in the video, but an idea for your "taming tower" would be to build another layer of walls with another large hatch/trapdoor thing on it. So essentially you would have one room on top of the other, open both doors and drop first dino in and knock out, close lower set of doors and drop next dino into the upper room and knock it out. I was going to suggest stacking multiple rooms, but then it occurred to me that you might just be able to open the lower set of doors to drop the second dino down. Then you could just reset it and have as many dinos taming as you like. Dunno how well I explained this. Just home after a 12 hour night shift and am out of it. Thanks for the regular videos! Nearly always end up watching one after work.
I love how you keep NOT getting off your creature when you see the microraptors. Also, them in the cave is surely a bug, they are spawning in the redwood above and glitching inside

Argy Spyglass tip!!!!! Before you pull out the spyglass, point your Argy as vertical as you can then look backwards off the Argy with your Spyglass. You get a much cleaner field of view without the Argys meathead and wings in the way

Anyone else notice that ASA, be it the screens, animal colors and more are VERY Syntac? On top of little to no mods, and him playing so vanilla, it feels the game was made around his play style.
The amount of foilage in the swamp cave is crazy. I took a baby megatherium, raised it up to do the cave and a single bite attack (right click) from it will max out your inventory and collect 2200-2400 weight in berries/fiber. It's insane
Bit late, but use Insect Repellant on yourself and the frog. Lets you pick and choose most of your fights in the Swamp Cave. Can sit back and snipe the face off the Arthropleuras before they can spit on you, or just blow them up with C4.
Im amazed at how pretty this is tbh. I played Ark on PS4 way back when, an its night an day how different Ascended looks compared. I'd love to give it a go, but from what i hear about the performance, i think my machine would likely struggle with it which is a bit sad, but hell, i can enjoy it vicariously through your videos 😂
Theris and Microraptors just have it out for Syntac, if I were him I would knock out all the microraptors I find and take them to an enclosed building. Then, I'd load the building with C4 and send those microraptors back to hell where they belong lmao

Apparently the devs wanted people to do caves on foot again, and instead of making it impossible to mount creatures inside caves, they just put microraptors in them to force the issue. 😅
So take king a long bread ( not too long) I eat gluten-free caus off allergies so there is like a specific one I use and I put it in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius and than I cut it in two and put ham on the bottom than cheese and than some mayo than put on the top of the bread and enjoy your meal
Next time, try to get a imprinted frog, and possibly, not 100% need it, but a better saddle if possible, and level it up more into health and melee before returning to the cave...
dude for some reason I instinctively use bolas for raptors parasaurs and pteradons in that order and never use them again, its actually crazy how much I screw myself over everytime I play this game

'Well this has been an ARK day for sure, reminded me of when I took my new frog into the swamp cave to get some cementing paste and lasted about 45 seconds before I was torn apart. My main PVE cluster has micros and seagulls disabled by default and it's amazing.
Id never disable them but especially not the ichthy, they are the only way to perfect tame otters and ducks
