1. The Note10+ frame is Aluminium as described in the video NOT Stainless Steel, this has been confirmed by many sources now (Google it)
2. The Note9 has a SuperAMOLED display as I mentioned at @1:28, I forgot to update the text however 😂
3. My Note9 has not had the update to Android Pie, I know some models in other regions have had the update and this is noted at @2:47

It should exist...but has no business costing $949. It should cost $850 maximum (probably more like $800)
I feel samsung got it right with the note 9 (especially the 8GB version). I don't see any real incentive for me to spend 1,100 dollars to lose my headphone jack.
I was given the note 10 plus for free.. I just traded in my note 9..

I concur. And also what's so "better,"about the display. The Note 9 as you say is the one Samsung got right
So buying note 10/10+ will make you lose the following:
1- the perfect full screen because of the front camera hole.
2- the heart beat sensor (a very big retro move instead of improving this feature more like measuring blood pressure or blood sugar, they just canceled it and this is so disappointing)
3- iris scanner which was convenient to many people.
4- head phone jack (Samsung should place wireless headphones instead of wired ones which has a type C connection, so you can't use them while charging and you have to buy a wireless headphones instead).
5- dropping down the notification bar and navigate through gallery just by swiping the fingerprint sensor.
6- notification light which could have been placed around the front camera or around the front ear speaker.
This is a game, it has always been.
You Never get a full device or the perfect one. They have to put some ups and downs. They always do.
I don’t care about any of those things, I’m going to buy it anyway:)

I agree. Mostly with the loss of the headphone jack where I could choose what was comfortable. This was what separated Samsung from Apple, but they keep following them down the hill...
The only feature i miss ngl is the led notification light as it was so convenient

All of them "tech reviewers" act like they daily drive the phone they're reviewing. But we all know it's horseshit. They just read the specs on paper and judge the phone from there.

I'm holding on to my Note 9 for the next 5 years. Technological improvements are at such little increments these days that it just isn't worth upgrading every year or ever 2 years.

Me too. I also don't want to lose my heart rate sensor, I have a lifetime Welltory premium that is using it for measurements. I also have the Gear VR and Note 10 doesn't even support it.

@@DrReal6969 my Note 9's warranty was over and the softwear started having glitches and issues. I was so upset when I was told it wouldn't be fixed because of the warranty issue. I have upgraded to a Note 10. I wouldn't have if I didn't need to, but I couldn't be without a phone. I'm overall happy once again.

The note 10 plus comes with some good wired earbuds with a USB C male on the other end. And it's wireless charge in case you wanna listen to music while charging. Now unless you don't like Bluetooth or you already have a set of headphones that is not USB C, I don't see the problem. I'd say, step into the future.
@@joeldiaz141 I have a great pair of headphones that would mean I would need to buy the dongle.. and I'm not going to have something that looks like it belongs on an iPhone. I also work at a hospital and I know that bluetooth is definitely not healthy and nobody should be using bluetooth headphones.
I was also very disappointed to find out there was no headphone jack. While I do have bluetooth headphones I often take long flights and bluetooth headphones never last longer than my flights so I need a good old fashioned jack.
I agree, it's sad that they have removed the headphone jack. But we have to realize how lucky we have been to have had it for so much longer than others, like the iPhone 7 lost it a few years back. It has to go eventually.

The Note 10/10+:
- Removes the headphone jack.
- Puts a hole in the middle of the screen.
- Makes the fingerprint scanner less reliable and slower.
- Removes the heart rate sensor.
- Removes the Bixby button which could be programmed for other handy thing as well.
And they call this an upgrade and think we should pay more for it? They must think we're dumb!
I'm tired of Samsung removing features and calling it an upgrade! I'd still like to get back my removable battery and the IR remote blaster so i can control my TVs, like they had on the Note 4.
But I absolutely draw the line at the headphone jack! I won't buy another Android device without a headphone jack. Bluetooth headphones are inferior sound quality because codecs are not lossless, and they also add audio latency and need charging all the time.
It seems that Samsung is intentionally giving up the hardware advantages it had, just to copy Apple. At this point I might as well go buy an Apple device, and I very well may for my next device. For now holding on to my Note 9!

The biggest upgrade is the UFS 3.0 storage, which is literally twice as fast. Other than that, it is just minor upgrades

I have a Note 8. When i put on my reading glasses it instantly becomes a Note 10+ with a headphone jack.
Can't screen recording, dex on laptop, hand writing recognition and video editor be included in software updates for note 9?
Android Pie and One UI are also available on the Note 9. So no difference there.
I showered praise on Samsung 5 months back for S10 series. Now, not the same opinion is left though.

Hey supersaf do you know if the new DEX interface and expanded capabilities within Windows 10 that ships with the NOTE 10 will be backwards compatible with older GALAXY phones like the NOTE 9, s10, and s10e? Will I be able to use my NOTE 9 within Windows 10 in the same way as the NOTE 10? Thanks.

2 things - I have a note 9 which I purchased recently, and it does connect to 5g, and I do also have the live focus option on my camera. Not sure if these are late additions to the note9 that weren't available when they released it, but they are on there.

I am currently greatly satisfied with my note 9. I don’t see myself using a lot of the new features that the note 10 offers so I plan to hold on to my note 9 a little while longer. And yes, the headphone jack is really important to me while I make calls using the included AKG Earphones which sound absolutely brilliant. Thanks for the comparison, I stay firm on my decision :)

Things you get with Note 9 that are missing in Note 10:
1-A headphone jack
2-Iris scanner (more secure than just a single camera)
3-A PHYSICAL fingerprint scanner which is waaaaaay faster and more accurate than this undercooked underscreen crap
4-Some bezels (trust me on this one. At least you’ll avoid accidental touches and covering video content with your OWN hands while holding it)
5-heart rate and SpO2 sensors (those are minimal but they’re there)
6-you can get as cheap as $450 on eBay

As an average Joe. Coming from a s8+which has been a great phone. The note 10+ is a massive upgrade. Biggest things I like after my hands on experience is the obvious larger screen. Doesn't have wasted space anywhere on the face(no bars top and bottom) the 45watt charger is huge for me. Nice for doing quick top offs. The s9+ battery has been great but there's times where I get a low battery and want to just top it off quick it's just not quick enough sometimes when I'm on the go. That 45 watt is light-years ahead of what I've got now and even the s10/note9. The double ram 256 gb and alot of the other features really don't affect me much cause I delete the bloat apps and maybe have 15 of my own apps so 256gb is 5x what I even need. All the camera features adn upgrades from my s9+ to the note 10+ is really gonna be a nice upgrade. I live they went back to their roots of the note having the biggest screen in the line up. The pen isn't just a gimmick anymore like it was on my note 2. Although I did find my self using the pen them just to draw shit on people's faces. People want to compare specs of their flagship phones s10+ or note 9 but they don't wanna compare specs to the note flagship phone the note 10+. They actually are so mad they act like it doesn't even exist and when you show them all the specs are upgraded. Some being vastly upgraded over the note 9 they curl up in the fetal position (but it doesn't ha e a headphone jack 😭) yes I've seen people online that are so delusional and think the note 10+ is not an upgrade whatsoever from the note 9 and they are equals. Unreal
Another important feature, at least for me, that is missing on the Note 10+ -- the heart rate sensor. I use it regularly on my Note 9 and its absence on the 10+ is perplexing.
Can I dex my games to a monitor and connect a Bluetooth mouse to my phone? I'm talking about no laptop or PC just the monitor that's it

Hi Saif. Have been watching your videos for a very long time. I own a note 9 since September last year and I am very contended with it. I think this will be the first year in more than a decade when I won't change my phone. I still love my note 9. I did get it after watching your reviews last year.

Very informative! You probably already know, had one error that I saw, where you are describing the display differences and your information backdrop had "dynamic" as the description for both phones.
I do have two questions, did you have a Note 8 prior to your 9? Are you going to stay with the Note 10+ or move up to the 5G version?

In every video about Note10 reviewers says: now you can connect usb-c to HDMI to use DEX. I'm able to use usb-c to HDMI adapter not only on my Note 8, but even on standard S8! What I'm doing wrong here?
