I actually used the S-Pen to swipe through camera modes for the same reason you used it on the camera. It kept me from walking back up to my phone to change the mode. Not sure how that's gimmicky because it works flawlessly and actually serves a purpose 🤔

@@Mr.Beasley Can't that work the other way around too? Something isn't a feature just because YOU use it? Don't get me wrong I like the spen features but objectively very few (relatively) people will find it really useful for the camera.
Likewise AR doodle isn't that bad, it's pretty useful for figure out space or what something may look like. Although this only really shines in renovations purposes.
@@zanemiracle6121 it COULD work both ways, but AR Doodle is different from what you're referring to. That's a whole other feature that uses AR. There's literally no benefit to having AR Doodle lol...gimmick all day

I meant what I said, using at doodle you could draw on a space to see what a possible item there could look like. I think pocketnow and Dave did a video showcasing this use for better visual representation.
The whole face thing is fun and all but the observing of space by drawing on a surface is far more useful. It's also free handed so even apps like picture link with its ar feature cannot exactly replicate.
I upgraded from S9 to Note 10+ two weeks ago and I absolutely love it. Cameras are amazing, the screen is mindblowing and battery life is also outstanding (and charging is super fast). I kinda do miss the HJ but everything else about the phone is top class 👌.
Dont regret buying iphone 11 pro instead I mean it got better camera I think?

How are you loving your 10+ ? I've had mine for almost 7 months. Still loving it. I did notice my battery life doesnt last as long as it did before the android 10 update. Hopefully it gets fixed soon

It is a very nice and good Quality phone to be sure , it does take a different path to the normal note however with the omitting of some long time features and watering down of the smaller note model .

For me, since switching to the Note 9 last year and now owning the Note 10+, I don't think I could live without the S-pen. Yes, I mostly use it for the camera but it's just so useful. Great video as usual.

Bixby routine is Soo underrated
It triggers me how no one talks about how good bixby routine is, and also other samsung customization apps such as good lock and one handed operation+. It literally makes my purchase worth it
Not exactly sure how Bixby routine works since I don’t have a Samsung phone, but after reading it online it seems that it’s pretty similar to the Shortcuts app in iOS. You can use Shortcuts independently, or incorporate it into Siri after tweaking a setting.
While literally everyone says the swipe and change option in the camera for the spen is useless.

I chose the Note10 + for the S-pen over the S10 + and Note10 + over regular Note10 for the SD slot.. The extra stuff was worth the extra Benjamins to me, especially since I upgraded from a Note4 and hope this one lasts at least half the 5 years it lasted.
Besides the extra features I prefer a stylus over fingers from the old pda days and swiping instead of typing because it's more like actual writing. The convert to text feature really makes my old school style merge nicely with the new reality of pen/paper going by the wayside in favor of typing on a screen.

@@tiattahiscupcakecandykatan2453 I hear you, tbh I only upgraded my Note 8 cause of the on board memory apps were becoming so large in size and I got tired of always having to delete and reinstalling apps. Wish manufacturers would allow a way to upgrade the onboard memory also wish they would try their best to make the system memory smaller cause back in the day 16GB and itll be 4GB system memory now gonna 256GB system memory is about 50GB+, my Note 10+ is saying 101GB system and user data wtf

You're missing one other feature as well which has gone from the s10 and note 10,which is the LED notification light indicator.
Honestly, that feature was one of my top three favorite things about my phone. I see that light after waking up and know I got a message....

Man.. its amazing how reviewing phones has changed. Almost no one talks about what the device is really capable of doing and most reviews are based on camera which is almost encouraging manufacturers to focus on better camera/cameras instead of the overall phone(s) itself... smh🤷♂️🤦♂️

You're probably better off getting an old dumbphone if calling people is all that matters. Modern smartphones are kinda built around the camera, they're multimedia devices, pocket computers and assistants instead of just phones.

Seriously, what is the point of having that gorgeous iridescent aura glow just to cover it up with a coloured skin? I use the most see-through, thinnest phone cover available to let the aura glow shine through.

It's between frames or colours. There's a data bandwith for the cable to transfer data between the GPU to the Screen

To understand the reasoning behind the smoothening effect even with beauty mode switched off, or the bright punchy effect of photos in Samsung devices, you need to first understand modern Korean culture.. There is no such thing as an untouched photo in Korea. Even at a photo shop, if you needed a passport photo for example, you have to specifically ask (and then watch like a hawk to make sure they listen to you) for them to not Photoshop the crap out of your photo. It's just the way it is over here. Personally I don't mind (ugly mug) but I can see how it would bother some....

As an artists I find the spen very helpful especially since I can't take my graphic tablet and pc everywhere with me and even if I could it's a hassle and the spen is perfect for when I need to doodle on the go or want to draw something somewhere foreign, it obviously can't compare to an actual graphic tablet and pc but it's more than good enough

The punch out hole is such a stupid thing to do since they could've put it up a bit and connect it to the top bezel and now my OCD would hurt less every time I see that the punch out goes past the notification tray. Idiotic move honestly from Samsung just so they can seem different and say they didn't have a notch. So they could've made it smaller, they just chose not to. (that's a copy from my comment on this video)

I hardly notice and it above you can't really see it, every thing good about but I feel the camera are bad, I mean I had the LGG6 and when I took shot it gave little more details after zooming another it blurs some features like lighting effect on digital clock you can't see it

Idk why Mfckas that dont have problems always tryna act like they do which in turn makes it seem less severe or watered down for people that really do have a disorder, like ADHD OCD BPD or Bipolar disorder. And theres a setting that hides the punch out which you'd know if you actually owned one but it seems like it's only the people that can't afford them that have a problem with it 🤷🏽♂️

Once again, another excellent SuperSaf vid. I traded my Note 8 for the Note 10 plus but really looked closely at the S10 plus which, when I was looking, wasn't significantly cheaper. Although 5G is thin on the ground here in the UK, it is coming. Once I factored in 5G, the extra base storage and allegedly, a better camera than the S10 plus and, of course, the Spen, I plumped for the Note. I miss the jack and heart rate monitor But as you forecast, they're gone and now its inevitable that they'll disappear on forthcoming Samsung devices. However, the one thing a Note needs is an S pen and until a Note dispenses with it and it will be just like any other phone then, I'll continue to be a fan. 😜👍

I think Samsung is still at the top with the ultra wide. I haven't been too impressed with the results of the ultra wide from my iPhone 11 so far.
note10 plus user here and i can say that i use the spen almost everyday be it for photo or video editing. samsung did a great job here
I'm a Galaxy girl ride or die! Lovin my 10+ so far. My husband just got his Note 10+ and we were both disappointed when we noticed the missing 3.5 jack. But he's a Note man ride or die...it's still a keeper!
