Trains in the 1980s - Class 47s on Freight - A compilation

This video is a compilation of clips of Class 47s hauling freight and parcels traffic on the main line, filmed between 1987 and 1991. The clips have been put together in no particular order, so it's a surprise what's going to come up next!. Unfortunately, not every Class 47 member features, but some locomotives do feature more than once.

We got plenty Duffs on goods in the day. My first was a silver Stratford at Salisbury in 1985 but my personal fave is two Fuels at Scunthorpe in 1991. The last was an Rfd 47 at Sheffield 1998.
