Nice Catch CSX #1850 Heritage unit 3:13:17 Good Job Drayton.
Best of CSX Transportation. They sure had some fine catches. Heritage units included too. CSX is a nice railroad
That and the fact that they have one of the lowest rates of Freight Train Interference with Amtrak.
They treat their employees like shit.
@@Cozmo-hp4uo Part of the stereotype work culture that favors productivity and loyalty over employee satisfaction.
CSX may not be my personal favorite Railroad, but it's slowly creeping up my list, especially since I got a job offer from them to be a Freight Conductor.
I got offer to be the CEO of CSX but i declined because of my non compete clause with CN

You'll hate it, my Dad did after 35 years as an Engineer. Especially with CSX.

ANOTHER BRODGE - KNOXVILLE, TN
Another bridge at 1:10:35 also in need of some TLC.......
The era in which this was built means that the steel was of an outstanding quality.....
It needs looking after to preserve it.....

Nice Video!

Interesting/informative/entertaining. Excellent photography job enabling viewers to better watch the trains traveling thru town & country. Along with the graffiti art work on box and tanker cars. Wonder if the artists are seeing 👀their creations on this presentation -???😲. Viewing this presentation from the comfort zone of my computer room. Along the " Space Coast "🚀 of Florida 🐊🐊. Wishing viewers along with the graffiti artest a safe/healthy/prosperous ( 2024 ) 🌈🎉😉.
COPPER CREEK, DUFFIELD, VIRGINIA

What horn is that on clinchfield 800? An RS5T?
I wonder if these are the same trains that come through Clemson. Let me know, please.
It has one of the Canadian horns 2:59:20
It's only cool if someone sneaks an emd into the party
There it is. About 10:13
I caught a yn2 dash 8 wide cab in lafayette louisiana
Hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars they make putting these train videos on TH-cam!
I wish. 😞
An excellent investment for future generations to appreciate & enjoy -!!!😉
3:15:11 there is a military csx unit and a 911 csx unit!
Wow, a lot of wobbling going on at 1:08:47.
OH YEAH
Although commonly called "diesels," the locomotives actually are electrically driven. The diesel engine drives an alternator, which produces electricity to run electric motors mounted on the locomotive's axles.
Power plant on wheels.
Generator that is mounted on the same shaft that the engine has in it …. The traction motors that receive the energy produced by the shaft driven generator are “ axle hung “ traction motors , hope this helps …its still referenced today in the operating environment as an engine , rules , shops etc…
AND YET ANOTHER ONE
Yep,.... this time at 1:31:46..
Lots of sandblasting and paint required here.......
James Hennighan
Yorkshire, England
Hobo Shoestring is missing
Please look up and pass on info
CINCINNATI BRIDGE
The bridge in Cincinnati at 50:44 could do with a coat of paint......
It is false economy to let it deteriorate to the state where it will need lots more spending on it in due course.
A substantial amount of TLC now will pay dividends in the long run.......and it will look prettier...
Come on now...get the sand-blasters, welding torches, paint and paint brushes out of the box...

Yoz😅
3:22:42 csx 3194
Seems kind of dangerous to run 3 mile long trains? 🤷♂️
How is a train cool? Stay in cuz the diesel smoke has smoked you!
