Today I took the chance to walk around in LA’s storm. It rained for two days straight. The LA River and Ballona creek were full of water. I walked around Santa Monica and Venice, Beach and the Venice canals to show you what it’s like to be in an LA storm. - บันเทิง

Those breakwater surfers might be catching something alright...E. coli, Salmonella, Shigela. Urban runoff is quite a nasty mix. Stay healthy all you surf guys and gals!

The health risks with swallowing fecal-contaminated ocean water include gastroenteritis, hepatitis, giardiasis, skin rashes, amoebic dysentery, nose, ear, and throat problems, pink eye, and other respiratory illnesses.
In other words, you may experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, cramps, inflamed stomach and intestines, and physical disorders related to exposure to harmful bacteria.

I don't know why not a single one of the residents of those expensive homes are smart enough to turn their boats upside down BEFORE it started raining. A lot easier to do it before it fills with rain water. Especially a lot easier to do it before it is so full of water it sinks.

I like watching this - the first time I was in California in Bay and Santa Cruz area it poured rain and that didn't stop me - I had a rain suit and hiked all over the place - it was fun because it was all new to me and I was exploring .

GM GIV! TY for going out in the rain. That gecko was most likely washed to the beach. Many times, when we have these crazy rains, the critters, such as rattlers are washed from the hills to the beach. North of you got hit the hardest, ie Santa Barbara, Ventura, SF. South all good in San Diego. Long Beach had a 5 million gallon sewage spill into the ocean.

I live in LA. We got over 10 inches of rain in one day. It was crazy. So many mud slides. Rivers of water rushing through neighborhoods. Boulders and rocks too. Some cars being pushed around. The LA river looks almost full. Insane. Life in LA!
That is nothing. Look up the floods in Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia.

Your videos are always entertaining. Neat to see many of the places I lived in Venice in the 1970s. I Lived on Brooks Ave, Westminister Ave, and Pacific Ave. I also lived in the ballroom and kitchen of the old St Charles Hotel (Now Samesun) on Winward and Speedway, I had a catering company there.
It’s nice to see you back in your element, taking selfies amidst hellscapes such as LA. I saw some videos of your recent vacation in Germany, which were really nice.

At the very beginning of this video I thought of those canals...wondered where they were and then you went to them. I've always loved Venice...the other one...and I would really like to visit there one day but likely won't...I can at least visit the one in Cali...I should have went there on my last visit but I forgot about them.

It's the same in the U.K. Where the waves aren't very high in a lot of seaside towns the surfers go out in storms to get the bigger waves.
