Thank you! My next project will be to add 3D Chameleon to the Magnetic IDEX printer. Material changes will be done on the idle/parked toolhead with nozzle temperatures optimized for nearly a cold pull. If things work out as I imagine, a humble IDEX will become an unbeatable powerhouse because material/color changes will have virtually zero time penalty.
I just ordered the MK4 kit. Love the simplicity and the thoughtful engineering and improvement. Looking forward to putting this on my SV08 when it arrives.
@williamsteele @3d_chameleon, what's the best place to find latest information about MK4 Pro, and, be notified about updates regarding MK4 Pro? For now, am assuming I should subscribe to your channel. Am going to RMRRF, might be bringing the Printer I brought last year (can see 60sec build montage I shared, details for that build on V1E). Am wondering whether to add MMU for RMRRF. Cheers!
We won't be releasing any details on the Mk4 until the RMRRF. As for being notified... be at RMRRF! ;-) Just remember, as we've stated previously, the Mk3 is the Mk4, just a firmware update and accessories (which are enabled through the firmware) are the only differences.
Out of curiosity how far along is the Chameleon mk4 firmware from being released and pre installed onto units? I’m really interested in getting one for my Prusa mk4 and tinkering.
We only officially support PrusaSlicer. There is a guide on our website's forum that talks about how to get Simplfy3D to work, but we don't officially support it.
The system will do that normally, however, you need to make sure the purge material is compatible with it being a support. For example, you can't have PLA with a soluble support setting turned on, and vise versa. So, you really can only use the same type of supports as your printed parts.

I can't wait to see that!

I was just wondering about this myself, so thanks for sharing!
Thanks a lot! You helped me to solve this problem after hours of searching
Very informative thank you so much!!!
Thanks so much, this helped me to solve a big problem
Great tip about the PETG! Quick question. How would I set the different filament temp for that one extruder then? Sorry very new to Prusaslicer...
Just go to the filament tab and edit the temperature there.

Can you make a demo video on Simplify3d?
