Hey Rick! Front bumper lookin’ good! Nice that you start at 8am (saw your watch!) due to our Texas heat. We’re finally getting some relief here in Houston with all the rain we didn’t get during the drought…hope y’all are getting some, too. Stay safe! ~Jim~
@@dzlfreek > Not to worry…you have your $25 lawn mower to remedy that! 😂😂😂. I’m glad y’all are finally getting rain…be prepared to get much more, as, I’m sending it your way!
If I seen it with out the video I don't think you could tell that it was a kit bumper, you did a great job on both bumpers. Be safe, hope that everyone is doing well...
Hey Rick I enjoy your videos, humour and tunes. My 2001 Jeep XJ will be coming in my garage for the winter to do some work on it. Maybe I'll add a couple bumpers to the list. Thanks
Napa has the best etching primer. Hey get yourself some torch glasses so you don’t burn your eyes out. The only thing I’m not liking about these bumpers is how far past the front they stick out. Other than that you did a great job your welds look very good.
Hey Rick, question you remember which one you got off Amazon? Reason for asking actually like the look of the front and rear Ines you got and wanna make sure I don't get some weird looking one
Thanks for making this video. I’ve been wanting to build one of these but was put off by the fact there’s no instructions! Are you happy with the finished product? You should get some welding magnets to hold everything in place. It’s like having another pair of hands.
For what it is, Im satisfied. However I am going to add some metal to the mount brackets. 3/16 seem thin to me. Magnets would help, but then so would a good work bench.
The closed eye tack welds 🤣
I appreciate the video. Very good information and great instructions.
Good job building the same one
Great! I’m using this one to put mine together! Very informative and a likeable guy!

little bit of rain. Enough to turn my front yard into a hayfield

Bedliner hides a lot of sin!
@@dzlfreek That is true. I still think you did a great job, be safe and hope the family is all doing well.

sounds like a plan
Watched 3 other videos about this bumper . Yours was the best man 🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
thank you!
I ordered one of these..hope I can make it fit..I have frame stifners on the front.
Great information/video on these kits! Thank you 🙏🏼
I hat kind of welder do you have? Thanks for sharing this!
I don’t think I could do as good a job, but kudos for your work.
a grinder and a flap disc fixes ugly welds.
A grinder makes anyone a welder. You did a good.
I dig the music playing when you were working on your vacuum line, what was that? Thanks, God bless!
called "Double you" found on TH-cams audio library

Enjoyed it and learned from it.
nice job, bumper looks good
Thank you!
Have you had a chance to pull on it at all? Im worried it might warp pretty bad especially with off center pulls?
I pulled a small tree out of my front yard with it. Pulled the truck over the curb before the roots gave up. I’m not that concerned

I find that the repairs that I dread the most aren't that big of a deal at all. wrench away, my friend

@@dzlfreek thanks mate, I think I’ll just buy one and give it a crack. I like the look of the finished product. Cheers from Tasmania.
Nice work man!
thank you
The bumper kits seem to be real good products.
Mounting points could be beefier, but for the money, I cant complain
I have that exact welder what were your settings on the welder ?
290 ipm wire speed 19.5 volts and 6 for inductance
Badass 🤘
I ordered the front and rear kits through ebay . ✌️👍
i hate these kinds of videos because my bumper did not come off that easy. neither did the mounting brackets hours of trying to remove the bumper
you live in the rust belt? I feel your pain.
@@dzlfreek Indiana so kinda yea but the jeep lived up north for most of it live so.
