I love how informative this series has been, definitely let’s me see my engine in a different pov and it’s components you don’t usually get to see. Helps me build a complete picture of the operation and how to work on it more effectively knowing where everything is thanks for uploading these even with the small audience, just know it’s being appreciated

If you’re running a remote transmission cooler I’d run it to the outside of the frame rail to get it away from the exhaust when it’s ran, could also fabricate something to catch the air to help the flow across it depending if they are a push or pull style fan. Trucool 40k is a good cooler, used one in my 04 2500hd

Agreed on keeping it away from the exhaust for sure but I might be able to keep it inside of the frame rail on the opposite side. We’ll see after I get some things mocked up!

Great video. I just found your channel and I appreciate the detailed information about what you are doing. I don't know much about diesels but wanting to learn as my LBZ is getting older and want to learn about how it works so i can fix it when i have an issue. What model Launch scanner are you using.

No sir, no oil pan modifications are needed with the precision fab engine mount kit! Here’s the video where we installed the engine and trans.
