Wow, this camera was a huge upgrade from the previous version. We were really impressed. Insta360 X4 Camera - www.insta360.com/sal/x4?INREUNG Insta360 X3 Camera - www.insta360.com/sal/x3?INREUNG
That camera sounds great ; you can tell how much fun you had exploring its filming options. The high drone shots were unreal and you definitely both look good from all angles in your trendy cycling gear !
Great full complete review, I picked one up before Christmas and have been quite impressed. Always love your videos and so much information on where you are riding.
I give the video quality a thumbs up. The color looks correct in the different lighting conditions. I love how it removes the camera stick from the video. It’s a Swiss army knife POV camera. On another note, were you able to see approaching traffic from behind on the preview screen? Finally, is the chest harness comfortable? I tried one and found it to be restrictive around the chest.
The preview screen will show whichever direction you want it to, so you could have it showing what is behind you. For the chest mount, the nicer versions feel better than the cheap ones. I try to keep mine tighter though so the camera doesn't move as much
Danang is really a beautiful scenery everywhere you cycled. Even with low light as you mentioned, the videos are really great & vivid. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Fair point. It helps to see if those TH-camrs continue to use that equipment even beyond the sponsored video, which we definitely will be doing with this camera 😉
I really enjoyed the low light situation. The sky was a pretty light blue and pink. It matched your wife's jersey nicely. Not sure if it was intentional or a happy accident.
Really good viewing enjoyed tour of central viet nam as well thuong hometown in her u tubs!i incourage all viewers watch em thuong home town u tubs and give the central Vietnam u tubs a high rating! Makes this American traveler to viet nam miss it and want to go back as soon as I am able to !
Wow! I’ve heard of these cameras before, and if my memory serves me correctly, didn’t you use something like this when you were in Japan? I could be wrong, though. I’m impressed that the video doesn’t suffer from distortion one can get when videoing wide angle. I’m going to add this camera on my list. Much better than a GoPro for shooting video while cycling. 👍
Which audio mode do you use when recording using the internal microphones? As I understand it there are 2 separate wind reduction modes, directional focus, plus a stereo mode. The default is the "directional focus" mode which uses all 4 microphones and 2 of those are not covered with wind muffs so I was just wondering if that was contributing to the wind noise.
You must be dealing with some very large files if you film at such high resolutions. Pretty long upload times if you post them to YT. Great platform though.
completely different cameras and 360 cameras aren't going to compete with dedicated flat video action cameras... not yet anyway, but they're getting closer each year
Fun new camera and ride I’ll check this new one out and might try not for fun stuff I like doing on here now!! Appreciate again you guys for the help again here!! 🦾🦾🦾

Wow, thanks to this review I want to buy 2 for my TH-cam channel. Thanks!
Really nice camera! Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the Camera Tech update. You haven't done that in awhile. Helpful information.
Thanks for watching 😁
Amazing! I get the feel of being in the seat when you wear it on your chest. A very natural feeling!
yeah, it's a cool perspective from that angle
9:46 some cool shots there. Can see it enhancing your videos.
Yeah, it's great for some sweet b-roll shots
It did well in low light, liked the bridge shot, panning round to see it and high up on the stick.
Great overview, first one where I see more realistic footage and for the first time I hear about 30 sec pre-recording feature. Looking forward to try!
I like it. Thanks very informative.
Glad you enjoyed it!
GREAT VIDEO. THANK YOU . great external mic
Thanks!
I am sold on Vietnam now. Good job with that part.
That's a great little camera.
AMAZING Camera that battery life is just what we all want 135 min wow thank you for a great review nothing left out keep safe TWC & Thuong.
Thank you!
looks great
Hands down!
I should have told you that!

I like it and would love to see polarizers for it. Keep up the good work.
Sponsored reviews aren’t really reviews, no matter how much some TH-camrs claim that the companies had no say. They’re just ads.
Fair point. It helps to see if those TH-camrs continue to use that equipment even beyond the sponsored video, which we definitely will be doing with this camera 😉
Agree
Imagine if they put this on bikes in the Tour de France or other races. It would be awesome because the views are like you are riding the course.
There's so much cool potential with 360 video

Thanks! Wasn't planned
now I want one lol!
😁 N+1 applies to both cameras and bikes
Watching the city portions of this footage is mildly terrifying -- all those people on motorbikes looking like they think the road is all about them.
It's not so bad once you get used to it

Yeah, we had the X2 when we were in Japan, so this is 2 versions after that. It has improved a lot with much better resolution and less distortion now
I came for the camera review and im more impressed with Vietname beauty..
Da Nag is very beautiful

It was just on default on this video
..no bike mount for the selfie stick?
I'll probably make a follow-up video with some different bike mounting options
do you find a LOT of vibration using the handle bar mount.
I wish there is a way to dampen those harsh vibration from the bike to the camera.
wider tires and lower tire pressure. I honestly don't notice too much, especially with the modern models
You must be dealing with some very large files if you film at such high resolutions. Pretty long upload times if you post them to YT. Great platform though.
Yes, the file sizes are a lot larger in 8k compared to 5.7k. They are pretty normal though once we export it to normal 4k flat video.
It cannot do 3D but it does 360, I get your point though.
Need to split into two channels (w and w/o arms) 🤣
😂 TWC w/arms V.S. TWC no arms
Foreground looks decent but the background looks too pixelated. Your previous camera was better.
It's still hard to compare to a dedicated 4k action camera, but closing the gap quickly
The issue with this camera is over exposer look at the sky not worth it i bought 2 of them .. better to stick with dji action 4
completely different cameras and 360 cameras aren't going to compete with dedicated flat video action cameras... not yet anyway, but they're getting closer each year
Would be nice, be sure to blur people out because I'm sure it's going to be crisp
fair point 😅
I still don't get Why people need to film themselves so much though. 😅 So me scenery!
true, that's why we usually film first perspective
@@TwoWheelCruise awesome
