    The 5.7k at 60 fps is in my book the main attraction of the X4 vs the X3.

    This is what I want to see. A 60fps Video from this camera. This is insane!
    Does this camera has GPS? How did you add the gauges?

      for the GPS stat you need the "GPS remote", you can find it on the website

    Great post ❤ Does the lens have to be aimed at a specific angle so that the stick becomes totally invisible? Because when you are holding it lowered behind you , it is not easy to control where the lens is facing.

    • @EmanueleTomasello
      @EmanueleTomasello  หลายเดือนก่อน

      when the light environment is smooth doesn't matter, when it's not (like 1 lens towards light and the other one in the dark) you get better results aligning the stitch line with the light source

      @@EmanueleTomasello you mean that i need to point my camera stick to where the sun is for example?

      @@epos_rising you need to point the stitch line, not the lens

    • @epos_rising
      @epos_rising หลายเดือนก่อน

      @EmanueleTomasello that's fine , but i thought there was also a MeMode rule : "one of the two lenses needs to be facing the subject" (the person holding the stick that's being filmed in my use case). It doesn't look to me that both these conditions can be satisfied. If the sun is at an angle above me and i turn the stitch line between the lenses towards it, then none of the lenses will be facing me anymore, because i will be placed in-between instead. Maybe there are different stick invinsibility rules for single lens use cases , and two lens use cases.
      I have a feeling the problem is that the 3m insta360 stick is too thick at its bottom, because it's the only part not fully invisible from what i can see in the footage of me and other users as well. But i might be wrong.

    Seems like a nice improvement over the X3. Can't wait to see some offroad footage with lots of green and brown colors. Those usually get mushed up pretty good..
    also, you make me nervous when you ride without knee protection!!!

  • @Sir-Kay
    @Sir-Kay 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    All I want to know is, how did you get those overlays? do I have to record my ride on strava or some other gps device FIT/GPX generating file device or the Insta 360 X4 does that? if so, could you summary how you got it to display these overlays? speed, elevation, map etc.

    • @EmanueleTomasello

      if you want GPS data on insta360 studio you need the "gps remote"
      if you record GPS data with a garmin you can overlay them with the phone app

    • @Sir-Kay
      @Sir-Kay 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@EmanueleTomasello Gps remote is that wrist watch Garmin watch type thing right? And, If can overlay gps data recorded on my Garmin Edge with the phone app why can't I overlay it in the Studio App? since I'm going to be primarily editing my 360 clips on my Mac & not on the phone. I just want to know why one has to purchase another device just to be able to overlay with the Studio App, are you sure this is the only way it could be done?

      @@EmanueleTomasello Thanks, I'll look into it. Now, If I record the gps data with my Garmin edge & do the overlays in the phone app, can I them import the overlayed clips into Studio to do the reframing and transition smoothening before finally editing in Davinci? or is it once the phone app is used you can't longer do further editing in the Studio app? I have to ask all these rookie questions because I just got into these yesterday - but my 1st 360.

      @@EmanueleTomasello the risk is exactly this. If the user cleans the lenses but some tiny part is still not well cleaned, a stain won't immediately show in the low-res proxy preview of a test shoot in the mobile app. You actually have to open it up in the studio hi-res on a larger screen, check ,verify , and then go out and shoot what you've planned.
