Fyi they're gearing up for season 2 that might come out next year.

The main guy, Ryu Seong Ryong, has another hilarious movie called "Psychokinesis", where he suddenly developed superpowers and ended up with yet another chicken shop. It's kinda become his signature at this point, but he does it so well. Lol Really hope you guys can check that out too!
For Korean movies, I really recommend the Assassination. It's one of the highest grossing films in Korea. I don't see anyone reacting to it yet, which is a shame given how good the film is. The main actor is the lead actor in Squid Game. If you want to watch noir, I'd also recommend New World. Absolutely an insane watch.

It was hard to find in the US, but this movie got me through the pandemic. I bought a digital copy on Apple iTunes until they stopped carrying it. I was so glad Amazon picked it up and now I've got a copy there. If it's now more available in the US, hoping to let more people know about it. Please react to Welcome to Waikiki S1. It's one of the most, if not the most funniest KD dramas out there. If you ask a Kdrama fanatic, it's probably their Top 1 or Top 2 in terms of Comedy. Lee Yi-kyung (Park Min-Hwan) is one of the main characters there and he was so funny and iconic in that drama. Many can't take him seriously in his character in Marry My Husband because of his funny character in Welcome to Waikiki.
You should watch Midnight Runners. It’s a similar theme but it’s 2 college kids that are going to a police academy and they get into a big case. It’s actually HILARIOUS.
