The director of this movie wrote and directed the Netflix series bloodhounds too. He's a really great director. Also in the series they actually referenced indirectly about midnight runners, they showed the exact kind of tasers ha neul and seo Jun used in midnight runners. Also yes this director is coming back with another action thriller series called officer blackbelt, soo Ig they could make this all into a universe or smtg. Also yea ma dong seok as police officer in crime city/ roundup series appearing would be even great

Fr Asia especially Korea always had the incredible movie. not the romance genre bc i don't like it so I never want to watch. But Korea is expert on creating plot twist over a plot twist insane story skilled acting intens cool soundtrack they are mastermind when it comes to all genre except drama and romantic
These two actors chemistry made the film much more enjoyable
When I watched this the first time years ago, I already knew Park Seojoon from IC & Secretary Kim, while I just saw Kang Haneul in Where the Camellia Blooms. This made me a fan, if I wasn’t already ❤

Before Achara showed the trailer reaction with Jaby, I was thinking, "has been a long time since they did the trailer", and you guys, it was 6 years 🥲 and now I am having this sudden meltdown that I AM OLD!
The director of this, Jason Kim also directed the series called Bloodhounds which Achara and Syntell watched a few months ago.
Also the director wrote both these movie and series as well. Plus he's coming back with another series called officer Blackbelt

I knew the writing style and bromance was similar but I didn't know this. Really love both the movie and the series.

The price of beef in Korea...
1. Korean beef (Hanwoo) - an incredibly expensive and luxurious taste.
2. Australian beef - medium price, commonly eaten a lot.
3. American beef - the cheapest.
American beef is the cheapest, but Korean marts are four times more expensive than American mart.
(Korean TH-camrs went to Walmart/Costco in the U.S. and the beef was so cheap. There are a lot of surprising videos.)
Lastly, "Korean beef costs 40 dollars for 100 grams."
It's too expensive for Koreans to eat easily.
The injured protagonist says his father runs a "Hanwoo(korean beef)" sales business...

this was a great movie! i'm so glad I got into korean movies and shows. I was missing out . Two of my favorite action too. itaewon class has park seo-joon as well and it's my favorite kdrama. highly recommend

This is a very great movie! I let my younger brothers (I think they were around 8 and 9 years old at that time) watch the action scenes and they liked it so much too. We had to rewatch that scene everyday for like a week 🤣. They were also inspired to be a cop so much.
Btw I did explain them important things like why they did this and that so they would understand it.
Bottom line is it’s such a crazy good movie!

A Korean film similar to this is "Fabricated City" which plays like a comedy but gets serious midway
This film has a tendency to pop up on a lot of "Best Korean Comedy" lists, and I get it to an extent. But MAN, does it take a hell of a dark and abrupt left-turn in tone midway through.

What a fun movie. Seriously Bollywood execs need to watch more Korean movies. Add a few dance numbers and this is what Bollywood masala movies should be. Have all the tone shifts you want, don't drag down the serious moments with third-rate slapstick comedy.
