For now, I'll have to live vicariously through you because I had neck surgery last month and it probably wouldn't be wise to be scrambling around a bunch of loose rocky streambeds here in Southern Utah with a freshly placed disc in my neck.🤣 Plus, you're not kidding about the runoff! The local creek near me doesn't hold fish unfortunately, but its only just starting to be less turbid and has finally receded at least into its own banks. Wild year, but I guess once August comes around and I'm cleared for regular activity, I'm hoping there'll be some good fishin' then!
Hey, Tristan: I'm a beginner still looking to land my first trout. Film editing really compresses time to the point that it looks like you catch fish every 30 seconds or so, so I really was encouraged that it took you 45 minutes for your first and eight fish took three hours. It puts things in a realistic time frame for me. Thanks for including that small, but important detail: I've really been discouraged over the past several years. I hope at some point that you make it to the east coast where alders and trees are denser and more challenging, but I'm really glad that you're back. Best wishes on your new homes!

I’ve been getting out at least a few times a week for the last couple of months and I’ve been having a fantastic time. It’s insane how much fun it is to fight fish on a Tenkara rod… even a little 6” rainbow is a blast. Thank you for what you do 🤙
