It looks delicious and also I wanted to comment on your impeccable English Pronunciation so I'm presuming that you are a true British born person and that you went through the private education system. My accent is improving while I'm watching your cooking show.
Minor setbacks: - Made the mash the day before and forgot to reheat it before using. (I avoid starchy carbs, so I used swede and butternut squash mash.) Oh, and I share a kitchen with someone who's used all the big bowls, so I had to use a stick blender to mash in a bowl barely big enough. The mash reheated all right on a long slow grilling in the halogen airfryer bowl at the end. - Undercooked my eggs, because it's some years since I last boiled one, and I didn't have them at room temperature, so one cracked anyway. I just buried the whole eggs in the mash, thickest white to the top. - Forgot the breadcrumbs, but used oats instead. And, because I'm a lazy chef: my sauces are cheap soft cheeses thinned with a little milk or water, and grated cheese thrown in. My husband enjoyed it, anyway, and says I can make it again 😊 Thank you, Lawrence 😀
This recipe screams for nutmeg in my eyes, my mother really really conditioned me to associate mashed potatos with nutmeg, it just does not taste of anything to me without 😅 Otherwise, this looks absolutly amazing, I need to try it!
