    Dear Sir, you have an excellent show, I love the concept, the knowledge you have and your delivery, the the only issue I have is the union flag appears to be upside down, please could you check this. Thank you Important: the Union Flag has a correct way up - in the half of the flag nearest the flagpole, the wider diagonal white stripe must be above the red diagonal stripe, as Scotland's St Andrew's Cross takes precedence over Ireland's St. Patrick's Cross. It is most improper to fly the flag upside down.

    Lamb stock can be a bit tricky to get hold of, unless you make it yourself obv. I suppose you could use a Stockpot - 'it's your choice' as they say ;-) Recipe looks good, not sure I'd be getting 7-8 portions out of 500g of lamb even with the breadcrumbs for bulk though.

    That's quite a big ice-cream maker! As someone who, barbarism as this might be, recently bought a Ninja Foodi and uses it loads...I think I may one day buy a Ninja Creami too. The truth is I love ice-cream, but an ice cream maker would make me fat whereas a Creami can make low-fat ice-creams. Quick point, I am not sure french press is the best method as you can sometimes end up with solids in the cup. You do get a slightly more viscous cup perhaps - but I think if anything this would clash with the cream. I think an aero press would work better here, though you can get metal filters (cloth is best but cleaning/maintenance not good). I would also suggest that a medium-roast Columbian coffee could work well, not a huge fan of dark roast.

    • @brilliantlybritish
      @brilliantlybritish 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you prefer a less intesnse flavour, then I would agree that using mildly roasted coffee beans would be a suitable alternative. Regarding the ice cream machine, after developing and sharing a few ice cream recipes on the channel, I found that I could no longer resist, as I was partly curious about whether or not a dedicated churning machine would make a noticeable difference, ps. It does, moreover it does make churning much easier. Additionally, I chose to call upon a french press as it has been proven to yield more bang for buck as the flavour complexity of and ease of preparation for french pressed coffees I found hard to beat, without pricy coffee machines. However, I wouldn’t swear by it as I’m sure that other options are available nowadays. Your feedback nonetheless is much appreciated as it caused me to consider suggesting some alternative methods and devices for this episode.
