That buffet looks wonderful! I think starting at the desert table is the best idea lol. We stayed at the Hotel Vancouver when we were in Vancouver in April and it was quite lovely. I guess we'll have to go back to try the buffet :)

By the way, I've noticed most of your stays and meals are at the fairmont..very good choice. But I must say, have you noticed all the fairmont restaurants (across Canada, Philippines, etc) seem to have the worst lighting for videos and pictures? 😉
@@TimLeeLetsGo Yes, the lighting is usually quite dim in their restaurants and our camera does not do well in low light. We like to use a GoPro as it's less obtrusive, but the trade off is poor quality in low light settings.

Nice James! The booth was perfect and I noticed they had some curtains outside the booth also....was kinda tempted to see if they close. I think her host, Wendy, planned it so that we were as close to the buffet as possible 😉

Looks great. I like your detailed coverage. Watching this Thanksgiving 2022. It's around $105 this year! But it is a holiday. They did it at the 15th floor this year. It's been years since I visited Hotel Vancouver. Love the renovations. The Thanksgiving brunch looks amazing; pricey but it's all about the quality and ambience right? And just for comparisons sake, a 14 oz prime rib with side veggies and a baked potato or fries costs $39 at the Keg. Since this buffet includes an assortment of seafood and other breakfast items, then I think it's a good deal if you have a big appetite 😋

They were Dungeness crabs. This was the pricier buffet but I think it was worth it as their ingredients were well sourced and of good quality. I can imagine how tough it would be for places in Seattle prices are getting so high everywhere. But certainly enjoyed this one 🙂.

The food looked absolutely delicious, I can tell everything was cooked perfectly. I would of went for more prime rib and crab.

Maybe not as bad as you think. I picked a random night and the cheapest I saw was $146+tax for a queen room at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.

If I knew about the Vancouver Fairmont Thanksgiving buffet I would of made reservations to go there with my family 😀 Instead I cooked a turkey and ham at home which was fun. But a buffet would of been so much more fun! I am hoping there will be a Christmas buffet this year. Thank you for sharing your Vessi promo code too. Thank you so much for reaching out Bren! It was definitely nice to see the buffet open again; though a home cooked thanksgiving feast is second to none (aside from the cleaning and dishes😉). They had quite a few people there so I would not be surprised if a Christmas offering is in the cards. All the best to you!🙂
It's been years since I visited Hotel Vancouver. Love the renovations. The Thanksgiving brunch looks amazing; pricey but it's all about the quality and ambience right? And just for comparisons sake, a 14 oz prime rib with side veggies and a baked potato or fries costs $39 at the Keg. Since this buffet includes an assortment of seafood and other breakfast items, then I think it's a good deal if you have a big appetite 😋
Yeah, it was a bit pricey, but agreed...the quality was certainly there. Was quite excited to see these events return so didn't mind the pricing...😃

is the sticky toffee pudding one of the most famous deserts in England really from Canada I know they both hold dates I heard some rumors about that
I'm not too sure, but interesting... this hotel has a British theme to it so sticky toffee pudding tends to find it's way on the menu😉

Are there any king crab or dungenness crab buffet in the Vancouver area? All crab buffet are cancelled due to high prices in Seattle!
They were Dungeness crabs. This was the pricier buffet but I think it was worth it as their ingredients were well sourced and of good quality. I can imagine how tough it would be for places in Seattle prices are getting so high everywhere. But certainly enjoyed this one 🙂.
How much time do you get to eat?
I'm not sure if there was a time limit...I went late in the evening and pretty much left near their closing time... I was probably their for 1-2hours
