Trying Gordon Ramsay's Steakhouse for the first time! Ups 👍 & Downs 👎

- After a long day of work at home putting up Ikea furniture over the weekend, it's time for a break and I can't think of a better place than to visit one of Vancouver's newest and possibly the most anticipated steakhouses here! The Gordon Ramsay Steakhouse has opened in my home town and I can't wait to give it a try!
While I've always hesitated trying his restaurants given his harsh treatment of the staff (at least what appears to be on TV), you gotta give the devil his dues... He does create great dishes! Will the hype and anticipation live up in real life? I would be great fun to find out and to find out together with good friends Kristine and Bella.
And here's a spoiler, during our meal, we were surprised, disappointed and angered! Bella, the feisty Argentinian, was served Gordon Ramsays, Chimichurri... Saying it was not up to par was an understatement. It was bad... Gordon Ramsay making Chimichurri is akin to the BBC making fried rice. As we speak Bella is still fuming.
But did we enjoy ourselves, absolutely. Great friends, good steaks, and a bit of controversy... a fun and memorable meal.

Tim, you are such a kind man, so calm and collected. I cannot say that I have ever seen you lose your cool, you think fast on your feet and you're quick to find solutions to problems. I remember when you attended a Lunar New Year buffet here in Las Vegas and the requirement was a party of ten; you were quick to round up a group of total strangers to get to enjoy that buffet. Good on YOU! BTW, I would love to see you go off on Gordon Ramsay about how he treats his people.
It's always a fun experience and the food adventures is really just meant to have fun. I should have mentioned that the restaurant is still very new and they're making sure things go well and not overload the kitchen. They only allow for a quarter to half the capacity during this time. If we were kind of poking fun at that chimichurri, although it really did get under Bella's skin 😆
The note said "Without you all overpaying all these meals, I won't be having such a luxurious life"
The notes are random and there are quite a few of them... I won't be surprised if that was a quote in the mix. 😉
Tim, That was a fantastic video with your friends. We thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed enjoyed watching and hearing everyone’s opinions. Thank you.
I especially loved Bella's opinion... 😆
So good to see you Tim. Your friends Bella and Christine are absolutely beautiful! I enjoyed your nod to DTM with tap water. Everything looked so delicious but above my budget. I’m glad I could enjoy watching you and your lovely guests. I think passing on the bread is a good idea, no need to fill up on that when there are so many other fabulous dishes. Thank you for another wonderful video.
It was a nice meal and from now on... Tap water it is 😉
Looks wonderful Tim but when you’re eating a $500 dinner you should not be rushed by them dropping off desert early they should have had someone to stay behind to serve it later you are so kind
Them oh, we did order quite a bit of food. It was nice of them to stay open for a little bit more for us. When I made the reservation and mentioned if it was okay to film, they booked us in later so that the kitchen wasn't as busy, unfortunately that was at 8:30 and when we got seated at 8:45, they close at 9:30. They had to get many of the things out to us but they remain open for another hour for us to finish
I agree, it should not have been rushed as it was; especially for the price that you paid.
My opinion is if a restaurant books your reservation and you have ordered your food, it is not your fault it takes them so long. Closing down the kitchen when you have customers still working on their main course and have yet to get to desert is just tacky. And rude. There is nothing there on that high priced meal that I could not find at another nice restaurant, and not have to be rushed out the door because they booked the seating so close to their closing time.
You realize that is for a show right? its edited for high drama. His ex-mentor was famous for tossing people out his restaurant. There are times, i very much agree, "i dont need your business get out... " esp if you are the guest that is causing so much friction..
as for booking so close to closing time. If there was a time limit, that should have been communicated during the booking, or at the front when you arrived. Also, as a customer. If i knew the closing time was 23:00, and my reservation was at 22:00, I know the kitchen is going to close at 22:30. that is on me to be .. perceptive, and have a concept of last call" If they didnt tell you, thats on them. if they did, its on you. In this case, I would say the kitchen is exeedingly nice to finish. They ordered quite a bit of food for so many people. People are allowed to go home, well they need to clean. Last call is last call for a reason. The "last seating" + "a lot of food" thats on tim. not the kitchen.
One thing I didn't mention on the video was this was a very new restaurant and they are still getting things in order. They were only taking a quarter to half the capacity so as to give the kitchen time to get settled. We didn't record everything on the dinner, but they did let us know halfway through the mains that the kitchen would be closing and if we wanted dessert, they would have to bring it out right away. We were okay with that as we all wanted to try it. We didn't have any issues. We were poking fun at the chimichurri and it was kind of fun to see Bella riled up 😆
@@TimLeeLetsGo that bit regarding the communication that the restaurant did inform you about the kitchen and your food; should have been communicated to the viewer. It is very misleading in its original forn
Those scallops looked absolutely divine! I would give my left foot for that plate of scallops right now 😂😂
I think the dishes that Hell's kitchen is known for... Scallops and risotto were very well done
Your videos are always a great example of quality content. Keep leading us into the world of your talent and inspiration!🐕🦺❗️⌚️
🙏❤️
We love the video, great job Tim!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much!🙏
That was a fun meal!!! Sharing everything is the way to go! 😊😊😊
Very enjoyable and great company.. A great way to get to try more things
Love your friends Bella and Christine! the food looked amazing everyone seemed to enjoy their meal thank you for this wonderful video! I love how she brought her own sauce!
Really great to dine with them. Oh, and a note about the sauce, that was for me! 😃😃😃
The ladies are so lovely, and their take on the food - a welcome addition to the review.
It is interesting, the food can be good or bad, but it's the company that makes the meal memorable
Love your channel, Tim! Keep it up!
Thank you so much!🙏
Hi Tim, our household loves you and you videos! Thank you for takeing us to all your locations you choose to explore! ,Blessings always! 💕 🌈 Hamilton Ontario Canada 💕
It was fun to explore and great to get to explore in my local area. Usually I just stick to the places I know, so it was a nice treat especially with great company
oh that Onion soup looked so rich and comforting. Thank goodness nobody got yelled at!😅
Aside from the chimichurri issue, their appetizers and sides were absolutely delicious.
I'm here early. This will be interesting. Cheers, Tim, and God Bless! ✌️🇨🇦
It was a very interesting dining experience... Ups and downs but always exciting
Kristine and Bella are great dining companions. Fundamentally, Ramsay's restaurants are awful.
Surprisingly, the steaks were not the star of the show. It was really the appetizers and the sides that impressed us
Hi, Tim! This was a very interesting one... I'm so glad you went and really happy you brought us along. I was wondering after all that steak and knowing you had the Wellington coming out, why you would order filet medallions...when you said they were scallops, i literally gasped out loud LOL. They were HUGE!!! They looked perfect. So, I'm curious...i know it takes a long time to film...how long were you there? I couldn't tell, it didn't seem like they rushed you, but then they were closing up shop around you. Anyway, it seemed like a great meal. I would have been interested in pricing too, but I'll go take a look. Thanks again, Tim. Have a great week ❤
Thank you so much! And those scallops were heavenly.. typically when I visit a restaurant I do ask them if it's okay to take pictures and video when I make the reservation. Booked us in at 8:30.. And we were seated at 8:45. They close at 9:30 so it was really tight they remained open for another hour so really nice of them
Happy Sunday Tim! Going to watch the video now. Thank you for sharing. 😊
EDIT Happy Sunday to everyone else!
Wishing you and yours an amazing week ahead
@ thank you. ☺️
Beautiful dinner companions you had there Mr.Tim! Food looked excellent on the whole to me. Thank you.
The best thing about the dinner was the company!
Great post, I've always wanted to try beef wellington. That one looked delicious! The rest of your dishes also looked appetizing.
We were all impressed with their appetizers and their sides. They were done exceptionally well
I have eaten at STEAK at Paris a couple of times. It is overall really good. The sticky toffee pudding is the best dessert I have ever had. I used to get comped or I wouldn't pay the insane prices.
That's good to know. Is that the place with the red tunnel entryway? Actually, I should have mentioned that this restaurant is quite new and the kitchen is still getting their service together so it might not be very fair
@@TimLeeLetsGo YES the red tunnel entryway. It's been at least 10 years since the last time we ate there. It was called "Steak". Maybe they are revamping/remodeling the space then? REALLY enjoy all of your videos Tim! YOU are the best!!!
That stout onion soup looked lovely, reminded me of some I had a really long time ago in Toronto, they were so nice at the restaurant and made it special for me as I was only allowed soft food (long story). Looked like a fun evening with friends!
I was really grateful for the suggestion of the Stout onion soup. I can see why you love it so much after trying it myself. So comforting and warming. I believe that was one of the standout dishes of the evening
Out of all of it my fav was the Stout Onion Soup. Oh my goodness!!
All the appetizers were outstanding!
That was wonderful, Tim!!! The Wellington looked great, but I'll go to Peter Luger for a Porterhouse😉and no Chimichurri for me!!!😆 Thank you, Tim!!!💖
Ha... I love the reaction from Bella over the chimichurri. Even as we speak, she is quite agitated still. All the appetizers were amazing! And yes, Peter luger's porterhouse is second to none
$9 bread. What is the world coming too.😮
The real crime was not enough butter!
All the dishes you ordered looked delicious! Hope they open a Gordon Ramsay steakhouse in Toronto!
As simple as the risotto and the beef tartar was, they were absolutely the standouts! Can't wait to see all the great restaurants in Toronto to come
I'm glad you all enjoyed your meals. I am nearest the one in Las Vegas but I have not heard good reports on that one, only that it's disappointing.
Oh, is that the one in the Paris Hotel? I went in there once but didn't end up eating cuz it was very loud, dark, with burning red neon lights. If you get a chance, Peter Luger over at the Caesars is very good
Great format mate. More of this stuff.
Thank you so much for your kind comment 🙏
I'll stick with Texas Roadhouse! 🤪🤪🤪
Same here. Texas Roadhouse is one of my favorite restaurants. I would rather go to Texas Roadhouse 5 times instead of going to this restaurant once.
I have never tried a Texas Roadhouse! Would you recommend?
@@TimLeeLetsGo Yes! You can order off the menu or you can choose your steak. And the rolls and butter, which you don't have to pay extra for, are the absolute best! And a cup of chili is a must. I get a baked potato, stuffed, and pour the chili on it. And free peanuts! 😃😃😃
@ Facts!
❤I'VE SAID IT BEFORE, AND I'LL SAY IT AGAIN;SERVING OTHERS BEFORE YOURSELF TIM SPEAKS VOLUMES OF THE IMPECCABLE VALUES YOUR PARENTS INSTILLED IN YOU 💕
ALL THE FOOD LOOKED AMAZING INCLUDING THE TUNA TARTARE 😉 🙏 GOD BLESS
Ha😆. Thinking back, if they had told me it was a tuna tartar, I would have believed it
Good evening Tim, a beautiful restaurant to enjoy a fantastic meal. I would have been happy with the onion soup and bread! Soup looked delicious. French fries with dinner, of course they were better than MacDonalds! 😂 I may have tried the seared scallops with the soup. Your dinner guests are lovely. Thanks for sharing.❤❤❤
Thank you so much and it was very good... Their appetizers and that Stout onion soup were Divine. The french fries were very good and to say that they are as good or better than McDonald's is definitely a compliment in my mind 😉. I do enjoy the fries at McDonald's from time to time
Tim… I just started watching another food blogger, Vegas with Shin, and you NEED to do a collaboration with him sometime when you’re in Vegas. It would be great! Thanks for the Sunday video!!!!
YES , he's awesome 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗!
I've met so many good friends in Vegas and would love to connect with Shin! Hopefully can visit Vegas soon... Our Canadian dollar isn't where it used to be
@ 😊🤍
@ and our country isn’t what it used to be. 😕( sorry, had to say it)
Tim, Fine Lovely Dinner Companions. Christine has an enigmatic mysterious smile. The Stout Soup looked great, tartare amazingly tasty looking. Bella is well prepared. Packing her own sauce. Scallop excellent as is the Beef Wellington. All in all a very good Dinner.
Best
That was a very good experience and the sides and the appetizers were absolutely amazing! I should have pointed out that the bottle of chimichurri that Bella brought out.... That was for me 😃😃😃😋
Hi Tim, I am glad that you tried some remedies for your eczema and your face is clearin up. I would like to go to a Gordan Ramsey restaurant but I have heard its nothing special, but very upper class. It certrainly looks nice and the food looks really nice. Great to see you spending a great time with your friends.
Thank you so much for your suggestion! I actually had some oatmeal that I blended up into a powder for a soak. I initially imagine it was the thick oatmeal in the tub. It was a surprising experience with the steakhouse indeed. I think you are quite right. The appetizers were amazing, but it is definitely not on the same level as those Legendary steakhouses where there's just something special about the experience.
Everything looked delicious. Angry guests title was a little much. (esp. going in at the last minute). Gordon may seem rude but killed himself to get where he is- still does...its all a tv personnae. People die to work for him, so he expects the best. Some food critics can be rude too...they just do it with a smile. 😏...dont get too prideful.
I think Gordon is an exceptional human.
I think he's serious when hes mad because people are paying top dollar for his quality food and the contestants are serving raw meat and crap food.
Thanks so much for reaching out and yeah, I do understand most of it is done for TV. Would be interesting to know what he is really like
tim, that place looks great. thanks for sharing. another fine video!
ps: that beef wellington looks sublime and HUGE!
That was quite a good deal because it came with the sides as well. Still pricey, but not too bad. We all love the appetizers though
@@TimLeeLetsGo i just checked the menu prices...indeed on the pricier side but looks worth it if just for the occasional special event. looking forward to your next pigging out video haha =D!
Everything looks scrumptious 🥹🫠🤤!
The appetizer stood out for us. Very delicious
A lot of foods I haven't tried, I think I'd try to pay less for the same meal although it did look fantastic, I really like to try a risotto after seeing the risotto y'all enjoyed
All the appetizers they had there were amazing. But it was very, very pricey. It was a nice experience and fun to explore, but definitely not somewhere I would visit frequently... Or even infrequently 😉
You are real masters! Your content always pleases with high quality and professionalism. Continue to please us with your works.😀🌘💬
Oh, we just eat... The restaurant hosts and servers do the hard work of preparing the dishes... All we do is take pictures and video
TIM- Not my style of establishment BUT because you are narrating it makes it worth watching!!!
It's a very different experience for sure... A bit different but an interesting meal... My friend Bella is still upset over the chimichurri
@@TimLeeLetsGo She will always remember you got her on the TUNA TARTARE comment!!!! LOL🐟🐄
Good evening to you Tim. Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill in Manila is one of the place I wanted to go. They have my favorite foie gras and I heard the fish and chips is very good and also their seafood tower. My friend said everything they had was very good and very well prepared, just a little bit pricey. I think the bread and butter should come with the meal. I heard the lobster risotto is the best of all the risotto they have. My friend loves the steak tartar also. She said it's the best one she ever had. I'm glad you enjoyed the food except for the chimichuri. Thanks for the honest review and for sharing your journey. Take care and God bless. Stay warm🇵🇭
I was just in the Philippines and was so tempted to go, but unfortunately I wasn't able to make it. I hope you get a chance to visit and would love to know how your experience was. It is very pricey because of the name
Hey Tim 👋👋
Greetings from Greenwich London ⚓️⛵️
Cheers 🥩🥗🍹🍷🍾😋👍✅
Warmest greetings to you as well!

I’m going to China for a month! 🧳✈️
I hope (⁉️)to keep getting up to date with your blogs! 🎞️✅
I’ll let you know if I get it! 📲
See ya! 👋 ✌️
The food looked delicious. God bless!
Overall, it was pretty good... A bit on the pricey side though
Gordon is only mean for TV. Everyone else says he's very kind & humble when the camera is off.
He's mean for job interviews which is what hells kitchen is. lol
The fact he mentioned this is a bit off putting. Its fricking TV. The stuff people believe these days.
Yeah, I totally understand. It's all for show... Although you can't help recall the yelling and screaming in the back of your mind... Even though it's made for TV
I guess the old adage that everything tastes like chicken isn’t always true………in this case, fish tastes like beef😂😂😂
😅🤣😂.
Ha😆. I'm not sure if it was the taste or if it was due to the very strong cocktails... It was one of the best beef tartars I've had though. The appetizers were done amazingly well
@ maybe it was due to one or TU-NA many cocktails😆
Awwww ! The Tuna Tartar ! XD
😆
Your hosting skills are impeccable!❤I don't like you having to rush through your meal after paying so much. Shame on Gordon 🤬
It was a very nice experience and really grateful for the great company! I should have mentioned that the restaurant is still really new so the kitchen is working out It's kinks at the moment. They booked us in at a later time because they knew we were taking pictures and video and wanted to have us in when the kitchen isn't too busy. Unfortunately our seating was at 8:30 and and we were seated at around 8:45. They close around 9:30 but was kind enough to stay open a bit longer for us
beef wellington is my all time favorite
That was the signature dish. But I must say, the appetizers really stole the show
I hope Gordon see this about the chimichurri lol Can I have your leftovers lolll
Oh, it was a fun evening... Yeah, that chimichurri really got under Bella's skin and when we believed it was $16, we were shaking our heads
Wow, interesting and glamourous dining! This is unusual as compared to your buffets, especially the Pilipino buffets. Nice to see Christine again, Wasn't sure this was her,
It was a bit of a change and a nice one... Nice to explore the different places here.
@@TimLeeLetsGo I am disappointed in your attitude and response to my pointing out how unfair and crass Danny not the medic was in only serving you a very small amt of chow mein minus the scallop and squid that should have gone to you. Now, I am clear as to how you would respond to someone who speaks up for you, LOL. Hahahehe. Glad you had a meal with Christine and Bella..
What do you think of Trump saying he's going to make Canada a US state?
In addition, I have long lost cousins in Canada that I lost contact with. I believe there may be many Asians who would like that because they have wanted to move to the US, but couldn't find the appropriate job in order to make a permanent move from Canada to the US.
I went to his restaurant Hell's Kitchen in DC and had their beef wellington. It was a big disappointment. There was no seasoning on it. We also ordered grilled octopus and seared scallops, and those were really good.
I was very surprised too. The steaks were okay but I think we just had too high of an expectation. The appetizers were fantastic but yeah, the main courses were just okay
Does not matter what time they close I have served guests hour and half if not more that's why it's fine dining
Do they have A 1 sauce at those places or would they charge you for that as well?
It would have been fun to ask! 😆
❤❤❤❤❤ love your video
🙏🙏🙏
Don’t put the red wine reduction on scallops…gross
I have a bit of an overzealous contamination there. The scallops were definitely one of the best I've ever had
Hey Tim how are you doing
So just a reminder a
I still am holding the reservations for July at the Longview Steakhouse
Let me know if you want to come
You know it will be awesome
😂😂😂
This restaurant is still very new and working out its kinks. So we were a bit disappointed with the porterhouse and the beef Wellington was pretty good but really didn't live up to the expectations. Having said that, I think some Redemption is in order.... I am so curious about Longview Steakhouse now 🙂
He’s not rude. It’s his gimmick regarding H kitchen which has worked well for him.
It is a skill to come up with all those quotes... He pulls it off well
Wow it looks really nice family style.
It was nice as we got to try a little of everything
Everything looked scrumptious BUT I think GR is such a horrible person, it would be hard for me to support him in any way. 🤷🏻♀️
I'm an avid viewer of Hell's kitchen and can hear him yelling in my head... I know it's all TV, but it's still there in the back of your mind
I really appreciate your work and professionalism. Your videos always stand out from the crowd.🐈🥎🎯
Thank you so much for your kind comment 🙏❤️
lol brought own jar of chimichurri 🤣
It was quite a coincidence... She actually got the jar of chimichurri for me as a gift
9 dollars for that bread and butter is crazy. Each table should receive it complimentary. Greed. Thanks for the honest review.
As Gordon always says "ITS TO BLAND"!
I couldn't have found a better description for the chimichurri than that
Tim, your the best❤
🙏
@TimLeeLetsGo As an American, I'm going to need it. Please keep all the good working people in your heart.
Vancouver has snow? 🤔
Yes, I spent the last few days shoveling
@TimLeeLetsGo Is this normal, snow in Vancouver? I thought you guys only get rain??
Did you post a total?
No, it would violate the TH-cam community guidelines for obscenity 😉. It was a bit high
the building was amazing
It's a very nice space... It's actually next to the casino
One time GR diner here. Not going to try any of them since I can't afford their prices. Grill steaks at home and no one will complain ..or else... 😜
I do have to say, it's actually more enjoyable having steaks at home as you can dine at your leisure.
Thank you for your hard work and creativity. Your videos are like little works of art.🌠🐌🫰
🙏❤️
I'm pretty certain the chimichurri was a subtle 'F-you buddy' sign from the staff.
It's going to be up to you to retrace your steps to figure out why.
Ha😆. That would explain it😉
Honest speaking: I don’t bother to try this restaurant because they charge supreme price for regular steak. Not worth to eat it.😂😂😂
Definitely go for the appetizers and the sides... The beef tartar and the soup and risotto were very delicious
Welcome back to Vancouver. Let’s do something together some time Tim!
Ps I have some eczema cream for your face if you need
Sounds good, but maybe somewhere a little cheaper 😉😉😉
Is that River Rock In Richmond ?
Yes
Good eye! Yes it is
Food looks fine. But I really like to know how much is your final bill for the dinner.
We very quickly tried to put that out of our memory....
@@TimLeeLetsGo Tim, you should send your video link to Goron Ramasy.
That's risotto ❤❤❤ d others here in manila is so saucy n just creamy
That was definitely one of the best risottos I've had... The flavors were hard to describe, it was season very lightly, but the mushroom flavors were quite intense. Very enjoyable
Gordon is a nasty man. Personally, I wouldn’t want to put a single dollar into his pocket. Of course, I need not be concerned because I can’t afford 22 dollar drinks or 188 dollar steaks. Having said that, it was nice experiencing the meal with you and your friends. 🌹
Oh, I'm grateful to get to try these places and share the experience here with this TH-cam community. On my own, this is definitely some place I would not be able to eat at. It was an interesting experience and the restaurant was still working out. Its kinks. Some misses here and there at the moment
Food looks good Tim, but personally I wouldn't pay the price they charge xx
Yeah, it was very very high! It was a fun experience to share and really grateful to get to visit.
I would have taken that steak bone with me 😅🤣😂😅🤣😂!
I did 😃😃😃
I really felt bad for you guys...bad enough they charged for the bread...the meal looked amazing but not for those prices...and Bella was right...that wasn't no chimichurri sauce 😤...had no herbs it in...for the price of the porterhouse at $168...I'm sure you could of gotten that at a different restaurant for less $$ and a bigger one ❤😊
As Gordon Ramsay himself would have said it.... That Chimichurri was bland!
I agree, I’m not a fan of Ramsey either. To me he has anger issues, food looks good but clearly expensive. ❤your videos
Yeah, I understand that it's all for TV and he does it very well, but I just can't help but have that in the back of my mind
Hey Tim long-time fan. I am writing this before watching the actual footage of the restaurant so hopefully that won't change this opinion. You said you try to avoid his restaurant because he seems rude but you have to remember that's just for TV and it is his persona. Much like Simon on American idol in the old days but he's actually a really good guy and they say Gordon is a super good guy. Not trying to be a jerk but it seemed a little silly that you avoid his restaurants because of what you see on TV and if I have that wrong my sincerest apologies I could have misunderstood
Oh, no worries at all and I know it's all for TV... I'm an avid fan of Hell's kitchen, and hear it's just in the back of the mine... It's a gimmick and he pulls it off really well... Maybe do well 😉
Watch Tim, The speedy reply is so much appreciated I cannot tell you how much. I know how busy you wants to be and how hard you work. I love your content and you seem like a super good guy so I hope you didn't take that the wrong way but I hated to think you had the wrong idea
You don’t ordinarily expect vegetarian at a steakhouse or at least I don’t. I can’t believe they charge for bread. Most places give it free.
Yeah, was a little bit surprised at the cost of the bread... It was good bread. Nonetheless... Just needed a bit more butter 😉
I'm very fussy about my chimichurri, most have cilantro and not oregano. Sorry it lacked vinegar, that is sad. Beef looked good, scallops looked good. But cold beef, eh. Hello from lovely Oregon.
Great to know! We were a bit disappointed and Bella was furious with a chimichurri 😉. It was basically oil with a few bits of parsley. We did believe it was $16 so that got us even more agitated... It was actually $7. It was a good experience and I should have mentioned that it is relatively new so the restaurant and the kitchen is still trying to work out its kinks
Hey @timleeletsgo if I were to go to one steakhouse in Vancouver, where would you recommend? 💯🍖
I've always liked Hy's as it is tried and true. It is fancy and a bit pricey, but it's the classic Steakhouse experience.
Nice
❤️
❤❤❤❤❤
🙏🙏🙏
To charge for the bread and butter is stupid. If you want to eat gourmet, delicious and cheap food.....go to the Mexican carretas and enjoy carne asada, adobada, tripa etc etc tacos with different salsas❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh, the $9 bread and butter! The real crime was that there wasn't enough butter. I would love to find a great Mexican establishment here... I really enjoyed the street tacos and the stands in la
Hot take: I'm tired of Gordon Ramsay. It seems that the Fox TV network relies on him and Ken Jeung to carry their network. It's overkill. They both have several staged programs on Fox and I'm tired of them.
Don't watch!!😅
It almost feels like the name is getting overextended
@ Thanks Tim, you get it! Love your videos!
😊👍
🙏
I'm not a fan of high-end Steakhouses charging for bread service. It's like the Resort Fees at Hotels.. it should be included.
A lot of his yelling I would imagine is amplified for TV. Though kitchens(not open ones) can get loud 😂
I have noticed that many places started charging for bread as well. Not a big fan here also and it does feel like one is being nickeled and dimed... I couldn't agree more with your description of it being like the Vegas surcharges with the resort fee, facility fee and tourist fee... By the way, just planning another trip to Vegas. Hope you are too 😃
@TimLeeLetsGo Right now my next trip isn't until September. But have fun... I know you'll find new places to eat. 😋
😂😂😂
Tim is going to have a sore bone after dinner with those two 🤪
i was thinking this meal must have cost a huge fortune.... and the tab must have been very high.
Yeah, the tab wasn't pretty 😬
I hope you got the doggie bag😊
We all did! I ended up with the t-bone 😋
Just curious to all the comments about GR being a terrible person do you people know him personally or unfairly making assumptions based on his TV persona?
More yeah, I think we understand it's more for TV... But it is quite intense and he does pull it off quite well
Tim, decantered wine in the form of decanted wine 😏
Gotcha! Thank you so much
that picture you showed of the drain on your sink isn't a pea trap, it is a 45
As long as there's no leaks, I'm okay with that 😉
@@TimLeeLetsGo it isn't a proper pea trap and can let in sewer gasses if there isn't one installed. it also won't drain properly
It snows in Vancouver?
Yes and I can attest to that because I spent the last few days. Shoveling
What's with the "angry guests" title? You guys didn't seem angry at all.
Oh, I'm just chatting with Bella and she is still upset! It was mainly a reference in the end where she was lost for words as she was recounting the chimichurri
