Why is the Solo Stove Lite one of Mark’s Favorite Things? They fixed fire, that’s why!

The Solo Stove Lite has long been on my list of my favorite pieces of hiking gear. It was the inspiration behind my “Mark’s Favorite Things” series. While it didn’t end up first, it could be my top favorite thing none-the-less. I try to convey why in the video, but frankly I’m just not able to show how important the Solo Stove is to me. I take it literally every time I go hiking, even if I’m not planning to make coffee. It’s there, just in case. I do own a small gas stove, but almost always opt for Solo Stove. It’s simply that good!

Hey Mark! Great video. I appreciate your insight about how fire rejuvenates us as humans. We been sitting around fire for 10s of thousands of years (maybe longer). You convinced me to get a Solo stove.

Awsome stove. You could make or buy a little screen for the top of it and grill you that hamburger :) I'm going to buy a dehydrator and make my own mountain house, lol. 10 plus bucks is too much for them anymore. They're getting greedy now.
