Just livin’ with Mark
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 10 ธ.ค. 2017
I’ve never been one to walk a stair-climber in a gym. There’s simply nothing to see. That’s why I go outdoors, and why I hike. It’s a great stress reliever! Taking a camera along gave me an excuse to stop and smell roses, to push further to the next view, and to disguise my “workouts” as simply a fun walk in the woods or a stroll around town. I hope that this channel inspires YOU to get out and see things too! Just live life!

The Now - a Coffee with Mark exclusive!
Have you been wondering what’s going on with this channel? So have I.
In this video, I finally get out for a hike in an attempt to answer that very question. I hike out to a reservoir in the Signal Knob area of Northern Virginia. Will I find what I’m looking for? Kick back in your rocking chair and watch this old man brave the wilderness, fight wildlife, and face dehydration as he prophesies the profound truth: YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE PAST. YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE FUTURE. BUT YOU CAN CHANGE THE NOW!
My tens unit. amzn.to/3WSSnxK This thing works great!
Starbucks Pike Place VIA packets are awesome outdoors. ( Don’t use inside tho 😂). Find them here:

Why is the Solo Stove Lite one of Mark’s Favorite Things? They fixed fire, that’s why! @solostove
มุมมอง 1.2K11 หลายเดือนก่อน
The Solo Stove Lite has long been on my list of my favorite pieces of hiking gear. It was the inspiration behind my “Mark’s Favorite Things” series. While it didn’t end up first, it could be my top favorite thing none-the-less. I try to convey why in the video, but frankly I’m just not able to show how important the Solo Stove is to me. I take it literally every time I go hiking, even if I’m no...
Good Days, Bad Days - Hiking the Appalachian Trail in Maryland
มุมมอง 97ปีที่แล้ว
Fall is a perfect time to get out for a hike, and Maryland offers a beautiful section of the Appalachian Trail. You could use a little ‘therapy session’ in the woods, and the weather is perfect! Why not go tomorrow? (as I drift off to sleep…) (…as I slide out of bed) I guess this is just not my day. Has that ever happened to you? You have good intentions on going out into the woods the night be...

Keep it Legal! - Using Relays to wire fog lights the right way
Very enjoyable presentation! I have one, now I want to go use it more!
Thank thank thank you!!!’!!!! This video helped me completely fix my gremlin I been chasing with my upstream o2s, running rich and random wrench light! I been chasing it for months
Will a new throttle body fix the problem?
Wow the one single video on TH-cam that could possibly have helped me and you don't even show how or where you relieve the pressure from because my fuel rail is magically missing the Schrader valve nowhere to be found don't know how to check the pressure. I think I could have done it from where you did it but good luck to me ever getting a response right? From a 6-year-old video FML
if you don’t have the shader valve, you can try pulling the fuel pump relay and starting it. but frankly, i wouldn’t worry too much about it and just pull the rail. It doesn’t spray that much.
I needed to check the pressure not relieve it
Super helpful video. My Jeep has major gremlins. Highbeams & turn signals don't work, lights always on, and windshield wipers on. I know that's emergency mode. I've changed the TIPM, Clock Spring, and instrument panel, but didn't solve the issue. Sometimes the whole car just goes dead. I'm assuming I have bad grounds since I live ina. tropical salt water environment. Curious if there's a diagram somewhere listing all the grounds. This has been hell trying to fix!
Thanks. Not sure what to tell you about your Jeep. Hope you figure it out. There are places to get a factory service manual online.
did you ever find the solution to this? having the same issues
I think a few retailers might have the standard red Cellidor ones still available. It's the one I have. I wish I could get my hands on the other scale variants. I got one because I would forget how long my nails were getting and wished I had a clipper handy. This and a comb are the only things that a guy really needs for grooming. The clipper looks diminutive but it works fine. Like you mentioned it's great for clipping other things. I've used it to trim the skin around a cut. It's a tidy, handy Victorinox without all of those extra tools that most people do not need. Also, it may be the only Victorinox that carries over Wenger's unique micro-serrated scissors (for them face hairs).
Well you did say “DOUBLE DARK CHOCOLATE”.
I have similar problems, also on the drivers side rear. I'm gonna try this tomorrow.
Good deal. Hope it helps!
Good idea . If you have an air hammer with a flat attachment , that might rattle their brains loose !😂
Had a front flasher issue on my 2010 Wrangler Sport. Was able to fix it after watching Mark’s video and repairing the corroded ground. Thanks!
Glad it helped
Hey Mark! Great video. I appreciate your insight about how fire rejuvenates us as humans. We been sitting around fire for 10s of thousands of years (maybe longer). You convinced me to get a Solo stove.
You’ll love it!
Hey. I’ll be there in April. I’m looking to earn my first badge. I think it’s a great trail to start.😊
Ten years? Really?
Yea, that one has been around 10 years. I have a black one that is even older. It’s too large for a Keurig tho.
thank you so much for this video
Keep up the good work man. An great call on the 580 im also a proud owner thanks to you.
Basically all the grounds all the way around the engine bay need to be cleaned, cut back, soldered & re terminated. Jeeps have horrible wiring that easily corrodes.
Yep. The engine ground stinks too. Been fighting with O2 sensor grounds too.
I have a similar issue with my Jeep. The lights will flicker and go out intermittently then come back on. I'm going to check my ground connection as well
My mustang 2010 dies at idle if I unpress the gas pedal . Has new air filter new spark plugs cables battery egr valve maf sensor . Idk what else could it be .
That’s a little different than I was having. But it wouldn’t hurt to make sure your throttle body is working
My 96 grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 doesn't have a fuel pressure regulator
Yea, they changed things over the years. It has to regulate pressure somehow.
Pretty sure 96 up is in the tank not on the rail
Awsome stove. You could make or buy a little screen for the top of it and grill you that hamburger :) I'm going to buy a dehydrator and make my own mountain house, lol. 10 plus bucks is too much for them anymore. They're getting greedy now.
Great idea! Might have to keep my eye out for something to make a little grill
*promo sm* ✔️
Hey Snoop-Mark
He felt 😎 cool ,saying Sticky Icky
Some of the best coffee I've ever had came from that solo-stove!!!
It certainly does do a great job with coffee. I was out capturing footage this morning for a ‘Marks Favorite Things’ video. Should be out soon.
The ohhh yAAA at the end got me lol 😂
Be careful, you don’t burn that beard off😊
LOL
Is that the rain or indigo color?
Indigo. Great color, reminds me of a 1960’s Chevy. 67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/attachment.php?s=b74544e29b010f69c69d12195b77eb12&attachmentid=1864662&stc=1&d=1547436929
agree
Awesome spot for a camp out, couldn't have chosen a better one myself
his cousin has one
Great job Breight-Lynn Jeigh-Leighnn Billy Eugene Alexander SmithsWorth Jr. the 14th
Teach him to pull the Firerod not to push the striker 🤙
striker-moving has the advantage of holding the cotton ball down with the rod. Seems a little easier for young kids. But I agree with you, I usually pull the rod if using the spine of a knife as a striker.
@@Just_Mark see your point 😊
That pirate's cousin has one.
You are teaching your boy some real life skills that could save his life one day! Right on! And he will remember it for a lifetime!
That's an important survival skill that he'll hopefully never need to use. But he's learning what to do it he ever does need to.
got to be careful with stuff like that kid might be a Fire bug hopefully not
Right cause they won’t ever know ignoring the little guy smh
Yea, this little guy kept going on and on about his cousin, even after acknowledging him. Good kid tho. I guess I could have handled it better tho.
Awesome Dude 😎
Congratulations Man
Congrats 🎉
Great Video Mark!
Glad you enjoyed it
I gotta say, I'm a little partial to the great coffee your stove made.
Oh don’t you worry… the Solo Stove is on my list.
Thank you so much man I thought my transmission was done for🙏
Glad I could help
What engine and year is your ranger?
I don’t have it anymore. But it was an ‘01 Ranger Edge 4x4.
did not work for my town &country with new 2 amazon keys
Not sure what to say. It has worked for many others. My van had the recall done, so it’s got a new ignition switch and two new factory keys now. Maybe your T&C still needs the recall. Check with a Chrysler dealer. That recall came out a few years back. Cars were shutting off while driving because the keys would fall out.
Did you miss the Bullitt’s Great video
It’s so hard to get everything. Honestly, I didn’t even realize that I hadn’t seen Bullitts this year. I think I got one pulling away in one of my videos, but that may have been last year.
WOW. What an absolutely incredible video. I'm learning so much from you and Shaun then I see he commented, sort of. Lol. That's so cool. My wife and I are on pins and needles waiting for the next video and hope your wife is well.
Awesome, thank you!
Do you have any knowledge on where the alternator grounds? Tia
poor unknowing people are going to dealers and getting totally ripped off for hundreds of dollars just to get a new key programed. when i bought my 2009 chrysler town and country, i had only one working key, so i could not program a new key in my vehicle like you just did. i purchased 2 new keyfobs on ebay for $15,00, but i needed to have them programed. i found out that my local ace hardware store had the ability and device to program my 2 new keys, for only $50.00 compared to at least $250.00 at my local chrysler dealership. i now have 3 working keyfobs. DEALERSHIPS ARE TOTAL RIP OFF ARTISTS. having oem parts once meant quality, not anymore folks. we live in times now that if you do not know any better you will pay for it. look around and ask around. it could save you mucho denaro.
