I have this pedal that I bought for my Marshall MG250DFX to turn it into a cheap hybrid tube amp but it's just sitting in my drawer here I might have to get it back out because your getting really really good tone out of that thing. I have a Bugera 333XL Infinium tube head and Randall 4x12 with vintage 30s as my main setup. But hearing you makes me wanna give it another go with my solid state cause your sounding pretty dang good sir. Well done. I love Behringer pedals I own about 20 of them.
Sounds different with different tubes, I replaced the stock tube with a higher gain one, a JJ I think it is. It became much more aggressive.

Just got mine last week.... I love it! I'm impressed with how well tapered the mixing knobs are. I wanted a preamp/pedal to give my Line 6 Catalyst a warm snarl... this VT999 really did the trick.

Yes, it's à good and affortable tube distorsion, swap the tube is really easy and give some good sound options
