Super Fast Castle Creations Sidewinder 4 Brushless upgrade on brushed rustler

My son got some Brushless power for his Traxxas brushed Rustler. Plus some cool new wheels. We show you before speed run and after the upgrade speed run with a little fun. Please enjoy.

Love the rig! Loosen the slipper a bit and it won't wheelie off the throttle that fast. I love wheelies, but they can be annoying at times lol. Have fun and keep squeezing

It’s amazing what Brushless does for the Rustler, crazy fast. And those new tires look awesome! I loved your comment/ question along the lines of “are you just gonna break it more?” Ha ha.

Thanks. :) it really woke it up...now his is about as fast (he says its faster), as my MERV. I have to say, the size though is much easier to control all that power. My little MERV is a bit squirrely with that insane amount of oomph. Thanks again for watching.

I retract my previous statement bc I just saw wheb noticed the pinion u have a lectron pro lipo.. they're killer budget cells... I just bought this combine few hours ago but ended up gettin the 8th scale motor basically.. the 2400kv motor.. its going in a 2wd slash.. fun times ahead

Careful with those tires. I run a rustler vxl and killed those quick. They are best used for off road. Cement and asphalt eat them up

I dunno ..castle motors are great..but like the simple set up of velenion system..i ran my stampede 2wd on Vernon 3s..forever..and i had that motor cooking..also had traxxas fan on esc..i pounded on that syestem and couldn't kill it
