I think I saw the blue ano skid plates on your merv. I know a lot of people like them, particularly the front to keep the dif bulkhead together. What, if anything did you do about the hinge pins sliding? I found they moved a lot because the aluminum ones don't have the little cups to receive the ends of the hinge pins and retard their movement.

Is that a 2wd Rustler? Looking for paddle tires for my 2wd Rustler.

Helped me replace my rear driveshaft for the first time. Also got the steel upgrade for it. Now i just got to pray the front doesn’t sheer in half.

These things break too much-I’ll stick to the RC cars lol

What you using for pinion gear for this upgrade tire?

Where did you get that little clip tool? I broke a shaft and ordered new from traxxas but didn't realize I also needed to order the the shafts and clips separately for the u-joints so I just ordered those off of amazon prime so I can hopefully fix this. Just to be sure, I ordered 2 sets assembled from Jennys RC :D

This happened to my revo 2.0 10 minutes into my very first run. Do you know how the rocks getting in there? Is there a mod to seal the chamber where they are getting in there? I can't tell where the point of entry is by looking so I don't know where to even temp mod it. I ordered a mesh debris cover for the top of the chassis but don't see any place rocks could have gotten in. If they are via the gear box on top it would have at least dented the spur gear but it's perfectly flawless. I'm going to upgrade to a steel center drive line but I still don't want rocks in there.

what battery did u put in it

Thanks for the video. I´m planning to upgrade mine after the brushed motor setup quitted its service. Will order the required parts at once. Did you have to change the pinion gear also? Also what are the batteries you are running now? 2s or 3s or the original ones? What size 2s and 3s goes into the battery tray?

is it really a big differnce? like is it 100% worth it bcz i think that if i put some good lipos in the brushed motor it will be fast enough

Good video, thank you. However, my question is what tires are those? I've been searching for something similar for my e-revo.

I raced there several years(~1999-2003) both indoor and outdoor. It was a packed house back then during his 4 season Championship years. Met some lifelong friends through that hobby.

That was pretty good one handed repair job. I have literally broken every part on my Erevo, but the drive shaft- that’s a first for me. I really liked the RPM body washers, that’s pretty much a “must” have for the Erevo. I also tried a pair of the Traxxas set too.

My front driveshaft broke.. any ideas how to fix? You can’t slide it like you can on the back

Yo lol the same thing happend to mine! A rock got lodged and milled down the plastic. Ima see if I can’t stuff foam in there to keep rocks out or put a metal tube around the shaft

I was really mesmerized by this video. It was almost sad watching it be torn down but looked really cool to. Liked how they just burned the house piece by piece, don’t have to haul much off after that. Also liked how you edited the drones shots. I think I’m going to try something like that in a future video.

I don’t know man I just bought one of these and I’m not really impressed. I’m not surprised they’ve discontinued I think they’re a lemon. Very mild impact and my tail motor doesn’t seem to be spinning anymore. I don’t understand how some models from Blade can be so well-built and others not. Case in point the blade 70 S excellent little machine besides having to remove the canopy to change the battery. Well anyway I’m not shine away from ordering more from bang good Chinese products I bet you they’re often better made judging by my Syma.

what kinda of brushless motor did you put in? I have the e revo aswell and put in a castle creations sidewinder 3 with a 5700kv motor in it and the top speed was 53 mph

The brushed version comes factory with a 1/10 motor which is a 550 12t and the brushless motor that comes factory in that same car if you got the brushless version is a 380 size. For mine since how I got the brushed version I just bought a 1/10 brushless motor kit and everything fit without having to buy extra parts. Something they don’t really tell you...just FYI for anyone wondering

Love the rig! Loosen the slipper a bit and it won't wheelie off the throttle that fast. I love wheelies, but they can be annoying at times lol. Have fun and keep squeezing
