I personally believe that Carnie isn't a original character from fall fest 1970. I personally believe that it could be related to the fnaf 3 location. I'm not really a theorist but I though bringing these old points up would be interesting to investigate more. 1: The place burned down and the game then leads to springtrap appearing and attacking. 2: Springtrap's design is slight different. One main thing is that he is missing his pelvis part like burnt springtrap in sister location. 3: There was an old theory that fnaf 3 took place in a carnaval. 4: Since Henry is involved with the fall fest because of the characters and animatronics. It's not a far reach to say that after the fire, henry took carnie and tried to fix it. 5: I've seen theories saying that Fnaf 3 and 6 are around the years 2023 and 2024. 6: This could also explain how springtrap looks so different. He probably used parts from the carnival to repair himself.

I have one theory about fall fest the first one is it's a prequel game. That shows us the real startup date of fazbear entertainment. Along with showing us the first death in the series. My theory is that Fall fest was a joint venture. It wasn't fazbear entertainment just yet. It was the blueprint of how a mostly animatronic. restaurant amventure could be for the future. I believe the designs of baby and the fun time animatronics sun and moon. Along with the balloon boy variants. Were williams actual first designs for this concept. That got put on shelf along with the cloth costumes. After fall fest burnt down due to one of Henry's animatronics. My theory is that this was one of the straws. That broke the camel's back in William. He already didn't like Henry. Along with now their first big venture into this fazbear idea blows up. Probably causing distrust in the community. For this type of restaurant an idea. which I also believe may prove that fazbear entertainment. Wasn't Henry's idea in the beginning. I believe it was actually afton's initial concept and ideas. That peaked Henry's interest into doing this first experiment. With fall fest or another part of this idea. could be fall fest with a side project idea. That was tested in 1977 to see if the concert worked. Either or gets you to the same result. William remembering from all those years in the past. Pushes him to kill Henry's daughter out of revenge. Of the recent and past failures underneath the fazbear brand throughout the years. You wouldn't just explain the slaughter it would explain his whole motive. In the earlier timeline of fazbear entertainment. It could also show that William thought Henry was vain. think about after the first set of murders. The suspension of William killing them. Henry taking it into his hands to push acting out. May have pushed him even further. Because he's saying I started this idea and brought you on. It's not the other way around showing us. That William never thought of this venture as a 50/50 split. Will you solid as his whole and only idea. Just brought Henry along because he's great at robotics. Along with that chica's party world was doing better. This would make Williams home motive. Deeper than we thought it was and even then it was kind of deep.
I'm totally down with Lefty being at least partially built from Carnie/A Carnie (not necessarily the one that burnt with Fall Fest) because the bits were still around at the Fredbears/FNAF6 location. That makes so much sense.
my big Carnival theory is that it is when William/Fazbear Entertainment got access to the Mimic. He broke out after "The Mimic" and attacked Fall-Fest.
The Daycare Attendant's design is kinda confusing. They have teeth similar to the Mimic's (though there are differences. The Daycare Attendant's teeth are actually bigger than the Mimic's and move individually, while Mimic's are more like a human's and don't flap up and down) but thats really the only similarity they share. The Daycare Attendant has parts that look like the Glamrock endos. they have some dotted triangle symbol design on their neck, which is also seen on the Glamrock endo's arms. I honestly doubt they're 1970s old, unless they were damaged and ended up being repaired with Glamrock endo parts later on. I have had a little theory about their origins. I theorize that they originated from Fall Fest, perhaps in a newer/more recent attraction there (like how Disney changes the themes of certain attractions at their parks with new animatronics), but due to some sort of fire or whatever reason, they were relocated to the Pizzaplex where they performed in the Fazbear Theater for a while before becoming the Daycare Attendant. I don't really have a lot of evidence for this, I'm just making this theory based on speculation and what's been given to us so far. I actually had a theory about them being a theater or performer type of animatronic wayyyyy before the Bobbiedots book giving us some lore about them came out. I was super happy about my theory regarding that being confirmed/true It would be cool if they were THAT old but I'm just not sure. Perhaps they have older variants?
One of the Tales From The Pizzaplex stories tells us that the daycare attendant originated at some stage show (but its unknown when or where), and it had a built in split personality depending on whether it was light or dark. Fazbear Entertainment took this old animatronic and turned it into the daycare attendant equipped with the fazbear entertainment technology but they weren't able to get rid of the split personality so they transformed it into the Sun and Moon animatronic we see in game.

My current theory is that maybe Fall Fest is going to be used as a narrative stone to kill two Chica’s: 1.] The origin of Fazbear and Afton/Emily’s influence in the animatronic world, and… 2.] The fire burning down Fall Fest ‘83 (source: Dreadbear DLC, HW2) and the subsequent burning of “his friends” is what CC “saw” that made him so scared of the animatronics.
My issue with the carnie being lefty is the fact that he is in the same game as lefty means that they probably reused the model because there is barely a difference between lefty and rockstar Freddy why try harder when you already have a model that is almost exactly the same
the glamrocks and their shattered forms are also in the game despite being the same character, and there's other examples like Baby and ScrapBaby. And They always appear separately so them both being in the game doesnt mean anything. Sure they could've reused the model, but there's not really any issue with them being the same and it doesnt change much, so why not? Not saying it must be true, just saying it might be
also Lefty and Carnie aren't just similar looking, they take EXACTLY the same stance and everything. They are the only ones that share the same exact positioning in their on stage model in hw 2 and I don't think that is a coincidence.

I believe it didn’t close but Afton was expanding his company and he bought out Edwin and his friend Henry had a partnership.
Whatever happened, the fire started at fazerblast, near Henry's creation. Also, Sun/Moon, for being new in security breach always seemed odd to me especially because he moves around like a puppet, like THE puppet, he swings around the daycare on strings and I feel like if he were an older character that could be how he started before becoming a fully functioning machine animatronic. Also can I mention again what a strange coincidence it is that there's only two characters in the entire series that move around on strings.

There's also not much to suggest that Carnie is Lefty but that at least has a bit of backing to it. I don't think either are particularly "likely," just possibilities
I have a counter arguement to the DCA not being old: the carousel. It has their decals of suns and moons and the game specifically labels it an ANTIQUE. The definition of antique is something over 100 years old (but I know we shouldn't strictly go with real world definitions-the main reason it's labelled an antique is because we need to know its old). There's a voice recording of Sun telling you the carousel is broken, and that he'd have fixed it already if he had been programmed for it. They're also in a minigame that features both them and balloon boy. They're at least BB old, which makes sense given how archaehic their mechanisms are in comparison to the Glamrocks.

Instead they claimed to use the generators to “keep the lights on” all the time and act like Moon was never meant to exist. However, considering all the Moon merch, and Cassie’s comment on some of the AR Moon items, stating “she never slept better than in the daycare” Moon was active, and nap time was a thing. So he’s been there. Whether Eclipse existed as the balanced middle ground before they became the daycare attendant is more uncertain. Personally, I think Eclipse is a new existence after an “AI heart to heart” that occurred in the milliseconds it took for the reboot to happen. Sun figured going back to the way things were wasn’t helping either of them, as one gets shoved to the side, so instead they needed to become something new-both active at the same time. Which creates a more balanced personality. Of course, there’s not really enough details to be absolutely sure of anything. The lore is rather quiet on them, which usually means that either because they aren’t actually that important to the story, or they are extremely important. lol

This is a bit of a stretch but I wonder if Fall Fest was a creation of Henry Emily that was active at the same time as Fredbear’s Singing Show (possibly a creation of William Afton) that was more successful, thus making William jealous. Maybe during Fall Fest ‘83, Afton started a fire (which could be what is referenced in the carousel mini game in Help Wanted 2) as revenge. This would also make Henry’s comment in FNAF 6 about “a wound first inflicted on me” make a lot more sense. I doubt this theory is even remotely close, but who knows.
