Oh boy, #6 Here we come, and away we go!!! Love that 1872, love my Victoria's, 1920 Australia Penny, yes I have a 1930 Australia Penny, bought it at a town wide flea market. Loved the 48 Irish penny, and the 1928 Irish penny, love the detail on that 1931, I am psyched over the New Zealand lg one cent, followed by the half Penny from1944, and shiny 1966 Jersey 1/12 of a Shilling, 1889 British penny, 1935 Irish Penny, 1965 Irish Penny, 1919 Australian Penny , thanks so much, loved it !!! Really enjoying these videos it's not just the coins it's the history that you impart as you go along. I've learnt so much and dug mine out and having a closer look at them.
Excellent hunt today. I like that you were able to find earlier dated coins good enough to upgrade the board. Nice going. I am still on the hunt for a 1903 with flatter looking 3. Cool fact about the little ship design on One Penny not included starting 1865.
Fantastic to see a even if it was a drunken one 😂 A few nice upgrades and empty spaces filled 🤗 When I was but a wee lad I used toto think that a Guy called ‘George Viking’ (George VI King) was the Emperor of New Zealand 🤣🤣 Great stuff 👍🏻
Hi Paul, 1st comment, there are chickless 1d Irish pennies dated 1942, 1948 & 1968, I do believe you found a 1942 chickless at 9:57, I do hope I'm right. 2nd my 1st Grandchild was born in NZ last June called Sean Peadar Tui, so I gto him a couple of UNC tui pennies, the reverse shows a Tui bird sitting on a Kowhai branch, designed by L. C. Mitchell and revised for the Royal Mint by Percy Mitchell
Once again an amazing hunt I have to say, I do have a soft spot for Victoria pennies! How many people could’ve touched them or seen them just amaze me!
Board filling up nicely, with some great territory and Irish coins, and that was a lovely 1889 penny upgrade for the Whitman folder 👌 and the got well and truly fed today! 😁
Liked the 1931 penny, very good condition, also the 1961 too.I'm now saying 'dirty mug' along with you! I think the arcade was probably on the south coast.
Enjoy your pub crawl Paul. A few nice additions to the board this week, and at long last an upgrade for your Whitman album too, which is really the main reason that you do all these penny hunts. 🍺😃
another great hunt, I read somewhere the lighthouse on the pre 1895 pennies was based on the Eddystone lighthouse, but as for the ship who knows?. looking forward to the next hunt.
Hi Paul I am a collector of old Irish pre decimal they are like gold dust to get hold of no one will give them up at one time peoplethrew them away John UK
awesome the gang is all here the jersey coins ,the mystery supplier, the tipsy bingo line, aaaaand that dirty mug!! all we need is the run rabbit run rabbit song lolol
Some more nice finds: 1880 and 1894 both had less than 4 million mintages and there cant be too many of those still floating around. A very nice new zealand and the first time i've seen a Jersey one fourth of a penny.
I wonder if these coins came from an arcade in Poole, since that’s where the ferry from Jersey docks in England. Perhaps people came back with a few Jersey coins in their pockets and spent them at an arcade to get rid of them. Just a wild guess. That New Zealand penny is a real beauty. I need to add one of those to my collection!
Hey mate, love the penny search’s. Might be worth looking at the 1920 Australia penny as there is a rare variety that has a small dot above the top scroll. I wish a had a 1930 penny 1200 minted. 17k for VG - 175k for aUnc. Danny
Nice Jersey threepenny bit - don't see many of those. If you want a challenge, perhaps you could attempt to fill the Whitman deluxe albums, especially the Victoria one!
Hey Paul - Dont forget I asked you to send me any 1930 pennies you might find When I moved to Victoria in 1987-8 a mate told me about how- as kids he & his mates looking for them in the early 1950's It is estimated only 3000 minted (1500 already accounted for) Worth HEAPS $$$$$$ !!
At 11:06 I just noticed that the horizon is not equal, the horizon in front of Britannia is higher than behind her, if you use the edge of screen as your line drag image down they are not level . Or is it an optical illusion

Great find for your Whitman album.
Hard lines on the 1930 Aussie penny! Outstanding effort as always Sir Paul 🙇
A good 1920 Australian - and that was a nice 1931, but my favorite was the New Zealand penny.
Liked the 1931 penny, very good condition, also the 1961 too.I'm now saying 'dirty mug' along with you! I think the arcade was probably on the south coast.
I noticed on the Irish pennies, they had what looked like Gaelic (for one penny) and others had the 1d. Always looking for anomalies! Nice hunt!
I was ready to pounce on the 1880 penny you missed initially 😊
Nice hunt Paul! Thanks as always 😊
Superb. Always makes my day when you release your penny hunt videos Paul thank you.

Another great episode Paul the only cleaning I do on my coins is with a cocktail stick to remove the gunk around the date
I use acetone and a cotton bud just to take the dirt off them. Patina remains u disturbed.

Hi Paul, never been to that King William, we used to go to the one at Cockenhoe just outside Luton for the venison 😋
My day stopped when you posted this video. Good mixed bag.
Some more nice finds: 1880 and 1894 both had less than 4 million mintages and there cant be too many of those still floating around. A very nice new zealand and the first time i've seen a Jersey one fourth of a penny.
Have a pint for me. Enjoy. Thanks again for another great video. 😊
