Not just the UK pennies I like watching for, but also any foreign and territory coins that turn up. So it was nice to see Australia, France and Ireland represented 😁. The majority of those Jersey coins look like they have never been in circulation 🤩
@ ah yes hopefully, I have many foreign coins but would prefer to keep it British for now so will need to get a few more purchases before I can make another video! Thanks for the support and keep up the great work.
As regards to the shiney jersey and English pennies it goes back to 1066 battle of Hastings and World Cup win 4-2 England over Germany 1966 kind regards great informative show John UK
Another great hunt. You got a good box this time. Lots of gaps filled and some upgrades. Quite a lot of territories and foreign coins to keep it interesting too, quite the Irish date run so far.
Another great hunt! The camera work makes it feel like I'm actually the one hunting (with a cool British accent). Im from the southern end of the United States and love these hunts... Always do an exrta handful or longer videos 👍
Thanks for watching Martin. I would love to do longer videos but I would run out of coins too quickly. I think around 25 - 30 minutes per video is about right. I'm glad you enjoy the videos - and my accent!! I'm from Bedford, which is roughley in the middle of England.
Thank you again Paul! The board is filling up nicely and I'm finding myself increasingly fascinated by the date distribution Jersey coins. This is some of the most exciting viewing on TH-cam! ;-)
Another fine 1d video Paul. Have a look at 22.08 on the video. The 1946 dot error. The one you found has a dot but it's on the left of the 'E just like this E looks like. Probably dirt but it's a fairly clean coin.
Fab video really enjoyed seeing the comparison of the two matching head sides of coins from different countries always thought they all had slightly at least different portraits.
A few more 😊 is always good That 1904 10C was nice I couldn’t see any difference between the Aussie & Jersey obverse’s I think they’re the same ☺️ Eyes open for at least a 1926 or 1894 in the next hunt to complete more Great stuff 👍🏻
Your videos made me appreciate circulated coins; they have done their job moving from a hand to another hundreds of times, decade after decade. And they look beautiful.
A cracking part 5 Paul with many gaps filled! Any hunt with a 1919H is a winner. i know that 1866 didn't look up to much but its increasingly difficult to find any dates between 1866 and 1871 now.
Wow already on fifth , .love those Irish Pennies, and Victorian cents, not to mention the Jersey ones, love that 1904 French 10 Centimes gorgeous condition, and the 65 Irish penny, Holy crow loved that 1935 Jersey penny, and 28 Irish Penny, 1938 gorgeous penny, love the slick 1860, and worn 1862, That 1936 was gorgeous too, Australia Penny 1922, Nope no 1957, ooh Another Irish penny 1957, and that Half Penny from 1937 !!! GaryBailey 🌩️⚡🇺🇸🇨🇦🇬🇧💚🍀🦉
Lovely 1938 -er I guessed that was going to be a 1860 before you turned it over Started to fill up the Victorian ones My theory on 1966 Cut-off date & CI coins is -There must have been a pier with Penny pusher near where the ferry docked
Hi another great video. I have been collecting coins and few months since watching you and have noticed a lot of sellers bulk out coins by weight with a lot of 1960s coins
@@PeterMoore-gs7gi I don’t honk they bulk them out. Look at the mintage figures, there’s a lot of 1960’s in circulation. According to Wikipedia mintages there were 900 million minted from 61-67.
Many thanks Paul. This year I've managed to find examples of all 3, so you probably have quite a few examples you can share with your subscribers - have a good weekend
This takes me back to my childhood.I made a board out of two pieces of cardboard stuck together with holes in the top layer for the pennies and collected quite a few.Somehow they got lost. Thanks for an interesting video.
Thanks for watching Tasmin. I collected date runs on these pennies when I was a kid. but when I want to the seaside I spent them all on the slotmachines 👍
Hi Paul, excellent bingo lines
Hi Ian, yes, I'm hoping for a full house 👍

Love these vids, you must have a huge barrel full of pennies left over from these hunts by now!
Yes, I've got around 40,000 pennies now. I've no idea what I'm going to do with them

Loved the penny's with luster, I'm working on a date run from 1900 to 1970 with luster.....
Good luck with that date run 👍

Great video again. Thank you

Very good box so far. Exceptional 1938
Yes, I was very pleased with that 1938. thanks for watching 👍
I wonder what that entire box of pennies could've bought in their day?
Nice to see some new additions for the board as well as several useful several upgrades.
The 1904 10 centimes was in great condition - as was that 1938. A great find!
Yes, a couple of nice finds. thanks for watching Duncan 👍
Nice hunt.

Thanks John 👍
Nice to see so many Victoria pennies, but the 10 Centimes coin was very nice
Yes, the 10 Centimes does have a very nice design 👍

Good effort to fill some pre 1900 in this episode
My favourite was the French 10c
Hi Richard. Yes, the 10 centimes does have a nice design 👍
Crazy to think how many hands those coins have been through!
Yes, I also wonder if any famous people used any of them. We'll never know 👍
@CoinPatrol I hadn't thought about that, yes I'm sure some would have.

I think most 1922 Australian Penny's were minted in Melbourne.

Many thanks, great to see the board filling up. Wondered if you were going to feature the three 1908 pennies ?
Hi Richard. I will get round to making a video on the 1908 varieties sometime 👍
Many thanks Paul. This year I've managed to find examples of all 3, so you probably have quite a few examples you can share with your subscribers - have a good weekend
I do quite like the Irish coins
Yes, they have nice designs 👍
Possibly they came from an arcade on the south coast
Yes, very possibly. I would love to know, but i don't think there is anyway of finding out 👍

1922 Australian penny is minted in Melbourne and Perth. There is no special markings and are identical.
Glen
I love your videos. You give great facts
The 1966 coins look amazing. I was born in 66, but sadly I've been circulating.
I was born in 1958, but there's no 1958 pennies 😥
I wonder if there was a penny arcade in Poole during the 60's? That seems to be the port for people coming from Guernsey and Jersey.
Good theory, you could be right 👍
Great hunt keep them coming 👍
The 1946 penny at 22:10 looks like it has a little dot before the E
Thanks Hayden, I'll check it out in the next video 👍
Thanks for the info on the 1921 types.
some nice condition coins in thgis batch 1938 looks mint condition
Yes, I was very pleased with that 1938 👍
