Omg this episode took me on a journey. It was so fun and unserious in the first half then getting to know the motivations behind the staff was really heartening. Felt so much for them and happy to know that they enjoy working in HDL! Also, I’m loving the new ad slot style it’s so quirky and entertaining! Was thinking between Revolut and Wise for my overseas card and this gives me more reason to get a revolut card!! Thanks OGS!
Actually can get both Wise and Revolut. They are both free, right? If only I dun sign up that early for Revolut, I would have gotten that $20 cashback.
Oh.... I really liked the stories of the HDL staff that you featured. I think the ex-teacher's story really resonated with me too. Good episode, I enjoyed it. Although, I think this must be at one of the more major branches in SG? Cos no "bian lian" at the branch nearest my home. Sad sia. 😅
I felt that haidilao's services are top notch, just like the accident when accidentally splattered the soup onto customer's shirt and pant, they would bare the cleaning and all even told customer to return if cant get rid of the stain. last month I went to Anchorpoint's washroom and it wasn't close for cleaning but there's strong bleach smell throughout the washroom. after washing my hands, my shirt was stained with bleach and the shirt had colour run. I contacted them on social media but they declined and said there's no cleaning done on that day. I was pretty upset as that was my most expensive shirt. but the mall's response was next level shocking.
Not to put salt on your wounds, but I've never had a shirt color run, what more an expensive shirt... u should have washed it before wearing so color shouldnt run
The "guinea pig" guy customer whom Wendy messed up his pink shirt while doing the noodle stunt is the same video editor in Wendy's office :D :D :D Same hair, same spectacle frame keke... Ok lah.. for infotainment sake. Not complaining :)
maybe there's a bit of showmanship involved😂, but I truly believe it was real. Last time, my friend's LV bag was accidentally stained by the staff. The restaurant manager not only waived our bill but also covered the cleaning costs and invited us to dine again for free. Such exceptional service left a lasting impression on me.
@@nilobolvangla4593 Absolutely agree that HDL's service is top-notch. That little "blooper" in my earlier comment does not change the video's authenticity. Just for laugh only lah.
@@mlkeltI don't think Wendy can get hurt doing the Kemusan Dance...many kids self taught themselves that dance by watching TH-cam. Just go easy on the sideway feet movements. I think the noodle dance is more dangerous...she might hit herself with the noodle or accidentally drop it into hot soup and scald herself.
Actually, that is not a demon; the mask is a "LOONG" ( Chinese dragon) face. In Chinese culture, the LOONG(Chinese dragon) symbolizes power, good fortune, and prosperity. Each mask used in the face-changing performance carries its own unique meaning. This year happens to be the Year of the Dragon, and the performer wearing the dragon mask to sing for the birthday person represents the highest respect and a special blessing. It signifies bestowing the dragon's strength, courage, and good fortune upon the birthday person, while also wishing them longevity, health, and prosperity. This blessing not only conveys deep cultural tradition but also expresses sincere wishes for the birthday person's bright and prosperous future.
