Are the bags weighed when we have to board the flight or early on so that after weighing we can eat something at the airport and, probably, buy some food items to take with us on the flight? 4. The personal item bag dimensions mentioned by my both airlines are quite small 40cm x 20cm x 10cm. Is this very strict or can I carry my normal sized bagpack as personal item bag which is about 150% (1.5x) of this? 5. Can an overnighter trolley bag (44cm x 44cm x 23 cm = 111cm) fit in the overhead compartment? Can I carry this bag as my carry on cabin luggage with Scoot economy?

I flew with scoot like 4 times this year alone, so I can answer. 1. It depends on the airport you fly out of. Out of Singapore, absolutely not as every gate does a security bag check, and they won’t let you bring food or drinks from the airport into the plane. 2. You can bring up to 2 carryons. Only once has the airline weighed my bags, and that was in Sydney airport, though they never really weigh bags for this airline. 3. Like I said, only once did an airline employee weigh my bag, and it was a waste of her time. She said “You are 5 kilos over” to me, and then straight up let me take the bags with me. My bags weighed 15 kg. 4. They never really checked my dimensions. Only one airline has done this to me, and that was sky airlines peru in Lima. 5. Yes, I think it can be put in the overhead or under your seat. It will count as one of your 2 carryons, unless you can fit it inside one of your existing carryons.
Scoot is abit strict cause its a subs of SIA so expect some SIA quality and attitude. Good pay for LCC and the destination for Scoot currently quite a lot. Perks since Scoot is a sub for SIA, you can enjoy cheap flight for SIA and their airline partner aswell. Overall, its a nice airline to work as CC
never heard of scoot till now.. i youtubed their reviews... n WOW deffo wont take this airlines for anything but 2 hour flight only... having to pay for entertainment via an app on ur phone... crazy wifi prices... the food looks worst then what u would get in a american prison... the cant bring in food with u policy is crazy... have to pay electricity in economy class... and i also found out its a singapore airlines sister company!!!! i get it its a budget airline and u shouldnt expect much... but geeze seems like they are trying to squeeze any possible money they can from u.... might be a smart choice to not fly to america... i dont think the cabin crew would enjoy their jobs LOL
Indeed, they left me (and many other passengers on different flights) without my check-in baggage that i had to pay extra for. Only got my baggage a day after my flight HOME…. 😮

Crap airline company .. got an interview on the Feb and somehow I checked my account saying that the interview has been canceled to make a new time schedule for the interview . Email them twice about this and no reply at all… just say what’s so difficult ??? You all keep recruiting in different locations and the one date that’s suppose to happen which was 3 months I waited for and yet nothing happen . Kudos
