Well here we go again. That 30 ton is NOT considered in the towing world as a heavy wrecker. that is a meaduime wrecker. Nice try to bs everybody Casey. Let me know when you want to come play with the big boys try a 50 ton stick boom or rotator or come take a look at my 100 ton rotator maybe ill bring it to the cleaveland tow expo. bring your 30 ton and ill pick it up and stand it on its nose.

One of the best things about Casey's channel; he explains stuff so folks who don't know anything about trucks can understand it. I'd never have thought about any of the basic features of that Zacklift platform, nor why they are needed, but Casey lays it out super simple, but very descriptive.

This is one of my all time favorite videos. Many TH-camrs would be pissed by early negative comments. Knowing you from here and seeing your face as you told the story, I knew it amused you but made you even more excited. The whole scenario made my day. Zacklift teaming up with you shows anyone who follows your channel, Zacklift is in the ball in perceiving character and did their due diligence checking out your channel and you. It increases their credibility with anyone who knows you from TH-cam and I'm certain real life. It's a match made in heaven. ( I just want to say at this point, nobody buys the "I don't know what I'm doing" BS, it's entertaining, I'll buy "I haven't done this before" but the other.....nah. Just sayin)

If you got to recover a rig from an accident or burnt completely from a fire, and it’s too badly damaged to tow, just pull your trailer to the scene with the tow lift and then recover the rig and put straight on the trailer. What worries me is that now you might do more heavy lifting videos and I really enjoy the recovery videos where you go help out normal people who have gotten into situations where they are stuck by adverse conditions or through deficiencies in Google Maps or their own lack of forethought, sometimes in somewhat dangerous conditions. The humanity you demonstrate when you help people without charge, sometimes getting muddy or covered with cold snow, warms my heart and is a big part of the reason that I have wanted to watch all your videos (well, perhaps not the shorts :). Coupled with the good works you do for society of your public land cleanups and brutally honest product reviews you set a stellar example for us all. At the same time I realize you have to make a living and help support your family and I'm sure the new wrecker equipment will help you to do that. being specific is a good thing you are a one man show. too many irons in the fire gets nothing done. Not. too many people plan career business , you have im new to the channel and i feel like i walked into the middle of movie and finally getting caught up. there will always be negative people out there saying my truck is bigger than yours. hey to them who cares! plenty of worms and plenty of fish continue to do good and be there to help great plan

That looks like an incredible unit. That attention to detail on their part is incredible. Looking forward to seeing videos of it in action.

I’m a huge fan of the versatility of that unit, can’t wait to see it putting in work for you. Sure it’s probably not the same as a 50 ton wrecker but damn it sure can do what a regular wrecker can’t do as well.

its going to be sad to see the the roll back go but exciting to see what comes with this new setup also cant wait for off road recovery to start up again soon!

My question is why are you planning on getting rid of the roll back.
Is it to save on insurance/taxes?
I belive it was just a year ago that you got the roll back and explained how it fit into your business plan.
      It's finally running again.

Casey, I'm not a tow or recovery guy but I did do 40 years of SCCA amateur road racing and that kind of attention to detail like with grade 8 new bolts is just so cool. Hell I'd buy one just to show it off. Seriously, that is the kind attention to detail that builds Great race cars and now I'd have to say Great tow vehicles. Jim in Bend.

I always wondered why you bought a long truck like that. I kind of expected you to shorten it. Very clever! It all makes sense now. That is some very creative thinking. You are definitely getting the most out of your truck. While 30 ton isn't huge, it is very capable and will allow you to do a lot. I'm sure that will meet your needs quite nicely.

It all makes sense now! 😁 I like how compact it is when all folded up. Definitely a quality product with attention to detail. I like how they've called the boom addition Genesis as they expand or have a new beginning of the product line. Guess we'll have to wait till next week to see it in action other than slinging your trailer in your yard! Great video and explanation Zacklift couldn't have picked a better spokesman/collaboration to get the word out!

Always park something very heavy in front of it when it is off. always. hooks quick means easy to steal. Love that unit. I have built many crude ones in the past yet that one is the best I have seen. No better person to show how it works than you for sure. You are blessed.

I don't think I'm quite as excited as you are, not knowing anything about trucks and towing except what I have learned from your channel, but I can see why you are excited. You obviously put a lot of thought into that set up and the quality of the Zacklift looks top notch. Enjoy every moment of using it. Congratulations on getting to a point where you could add it to your operation.

With those tie back points at the rear you could tow recover sideways in either direction using a pulley. Nice system because it allows the vehicle to be versatile. A permanent wrecker configuration only allows for towing only.

That's an impressive heavy-capable rig on the back of your truck. Look forward to seeing in in use. Wondering if you're still going to be doing the small-scale trail rescues from snow and mud without the roll-back to transport the tracked jeep and other vehicles to the site?

That's quite the impressive recovery/tow unit! The only modification I would add and can still be done is to spray box liner in those bright red storage boxes. Yah I'm OCD like that lol! It would kill me to see them scratched up after a month of the accessories bouncing/sliding around in there. Looking forward to seeing this go to work!
