      I watched this video in 2020 when researching a new build. I put a 3900x into this motherboard and am totally happy with it.
      Except now I want to upgrade to 5950x when I can find one for the $800 range... maybe eventually ;-)

    Gear Seekers : this GIGABYTE X570 AORUS MASTER is like the best pornstars bed to put a new Ryzen cpu inside....those actual fins on the VRM-s heatsink are the most perfect pornstars boobs and the richness with features of the board itself is ludacrisly tempting.

    I don't know. That chipset block looks a bit 'eh' at best. Looks more like a vortex generator than a squirrel cage cooler with what looks like no exhaust at all around the perimeter of that cover plate. I'm almost afraid to ask if there are actual heatsink cooling fins under that cover plate, or if it's like all the other chipset coolers with a fan bolted to a smooth block of metal.
    1. air goes in the top and moved around by the fan.
    2. ?????
    3. Profit.
    lol.
    Thanks for the sneak-peak Nicholas, the rest looks ok. Great vid Nicholas and crew. B)

    • @onboard3
      @onboard3 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep, I'm eagerly waiting one with cover removed, so we can actually see the heatsink part. It kinda seems it's just flat and only heatsink part is the small fins around it. But not a fan (pun intended) of the fan, so going B450, unless ASRock surprises me with their mATX pricing (as it's only one of it's kind and got to be mATX for me). Even if it's reasonably priced still not sure if I want 11W idle chipset as my GTX1080 idles on same 11W..

    There was a talk with the MSI CEO and he said that the x570 motherboard would have a median price of $150 like the Z390 boards
    But there's also some rumors that the cheapest board is gonna be $200

    I already bought it. And I AGREE 100% WITH THE COMMENT ABOUT THE DVD!!!!!! Nobody has an updated sys, and STILL has a dvd drive!!!! Nobody!!! DVD's are a thing of the past for more than a half a decade now. So STOP including dvd's in the boxes. Use USb sticks!!!!!! Man, you would think those who are manufacturing cutting edge mobos would already know this. Outside of that, this board is EXCELLENT!!!!! It doesn't look quite as aesthetically pleasing as the HERO, BUT it has a three year warranty, where the HERO only comes with a one year warranty. The Master also has three m.2 nVME drive slots, where the HERO only has two. Lastly, the Gigabyte board has a much better power delivery than the HERO. So yeah, I made the switch to Gigabyte from Asus, and I'm glad I did.

    Okay so you dont really need x570 unless you want PCIe lane 4.0s but will you need the x570 for the higher voltage. I know the 3000 series will run on x470 and b450 boards but wont they get super hot? The old chipset ran like 5 voltage and the new one 11 or so and all the x570s have either huge heat syncs or active cooling on them. So i guess my question is if you pop an ryzen 9 3900x in a x470 board is gunna get so hot it kills the board?

    • @AlValentyn
      @AlValentyn 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That depends on your VRM support. You'll need to check your mobo manufacturer; if they release a BIOS for it, it means they're confident it'll handle it. Just check which 3000 CPUs it'll handle.
      Last thing you want to do is shove a 3950X in there, when it's rated for say 3700X
