But if somebody doesn't like what you do, they are free to step away and do better themselves (99% those critics really cannot) or find content better suited to their taste. And for what it is worth, I find your content looking really great. Sometimes something odd or not 100% accurate, but I don't find any problem with that. It just looks great overall!

Basically do what you do best mate. You can always commission artists once you get your videos up and running and can spare the extra cash. AI is a tool, not using it is absurd.

I really like the idea behind the AI on the channel, your speech was so clear and calm that I thought that it was some advanced AI voice generator, too! I've been toying with AI image upscalers for my videos for a month now and I love the results, technology is there to give us better results or to allow us to get the good results easier, so why not use it? :) Cheers for the video, good watch!
The problem with the Ai tools is that they learn from information that is already out there online, with each generation they will get better but ultimately you are reliant on other peoples work to train the AI. Yeah the work you make isnt 100% accurate but it still looks good, kitbashing is part of the hobby after all. I would simply advise showing caution to the software as how it uses images that may not be free use is still up in the air and its just something to keep an eye on to avoid issues down the road for yourself. Good work though :)
I’ve always thought about the comparison between mass production or custom manufacturing. You can always buy something lower quality but have it easier than getting exactly what you want for a money/time investment. I personally won’t use AI for things, I’d rather commission or outsource, but I certainly can’t disparage someone for trying to do what they want. Like you said freedom of choice.

I generally try not to engage too much with the negative feedback, other than simply listening too it and seeing if there is something I can do better. There always is but sometimes I can’t change the core of the usage!
I don't come here for the art and though you obviously spend a lot of time on effects and animations and timing and audio, it's a secondary benefit to the information you provide about the game. I look at it the same way as incorporating memes in ytube vids or stock photos - viewers know you don't own the rights to it and it's just a bit of added visual effects. If that's all the videos were, I wouldn't watch/listen b/c that's not what I come to the channel for but the value is added in the commentary about the game. I think the same argument was originally made about "Let's Play" channels a decade ago and there is a definitive difference between those productions and people who upload entire movies or episodes with no added value.
First off, your content is great. It's informative, entertaining, and fun to watch. Keep doing what you enjoy. However, the use of AI animation cheapens your work. As a former professional artist and animator I can speak on this specific topic. AI simply can't produce animations without it looking robotic and ghostly (yet). It's very unsettling to look at. The still images are fine. The presentation of your videos is top notch but the AI animations do your vides no good in my opinion.

You are not trying to steal revenue from artists with ai art, or misleading people with it, and post it on stuff like imgur or becoming a big artist, so just keep doing your thing. This is just an other tool to make your work easier, which is what ai-s job should be.
This will all look incredibly dated in a very short time. However they videos are time sensitive and probably won’t get much in the way of views after the first 2 weeks of publication. I say go for it, anything that creates shortcuts and allows more content is a good thing. The final 5% of polishing and perfecting would put the production back a week or so absolutely destroying their final value by 90%.

I, for one, actually really like your AI generated stuff in your videos, even with its imperfections. Like anything new and disruptive, people initially dislike it but eventually come around to it. You're probably just ahead of the curve. 😅 What you're producing is visually interesting and entertaining so I'm all for it, keep it up 🙌
The AI is a bit off putting visually, but i don't have a huge problem with it. The ethical issue is the bigger thing for me. It's not that you personally are depriving someone of work, it's the tools you use are stealing work from other artists without compensating them at all.

Non-artists have been using other techniques for decades successfully. But ultimately, it's a tool that gives you resources to get what you want done, and it's fine if you have to do that to feel comfortable with the level of quality. The most important for me is what you put out, your actual content, so the AI question is not as important.
