I enjoyed your explanations. They didn’t deliver the usual horrific relieve from the horrors of reality, but it was pretty nice to listen and think about the worldbuilding behind it - how to gather a whole bunch of different crazies with very dark sides without making the world one-sided.

Necromunda is by far one of the most fun games games workshop has produced. I was totally into the original in the 90s, and was overjoyed when they brought the game back. And the new edition is even better. Escher was my first gang, Van Saar are my present besties.
17:39 don’t forget that they also cared for each other a little bit too much. Take the step out of “oh no step brother I’m stuck” and you have their relationship to a T.
honestly, this is a good setting for Total war game set up, there are some rumors about total war warhammer 40k, if it's true, this could be a great setting
When I first came across Necromunda was when my friend pulled out his rule book and terrain. We had to use our own models at the time and all we had to go by was the book. I ended up loving the Van Saar for their weapon selection. Something about having that one heavy with a plasma cannon that can fire across the field really clicked with me. I often developed a strategy of keeping my distance well luring my targets out in the open. This is how we learned just how important cover can be! Certainly glad they put out expanded rules and lore for this game as I absolutely love it! When all we originally had were the simple description back in the day it’s nice to have more! It’s a shame it isn’t as loved because it’s a bit easier to get into a game as you need far less models Would love to hear more about the gangs of the underhive! This game need more love
Love this content Wes, can’t believe I found it so late. Could you do more necromunda lore videos, on things like the Palatine enforcers, iron head squat prospectors, or ash waste nomads?
Necromunda: Hired Gun has its issues, but I really enjoyed playing it. It had that claustrophobic feeling of being trapped in a gigantic, underground facility filled with maniacal killers.
House Cawdor: We're the westboro baptist Church of the imperium. House Escher: We're literally just Wych cults but human and a bit more punk rock than goth. House Goliath: They tried to reinvent the wheel and artificially create Ogryn. They got a mix of ogryn and Ork, but human. House Orlock: M A D. M A X...but also mafia. Sort of. House Van Saar: The SECOND the mechanicus finds our we have a (semi) functional STC, we are boned. House Delaque: We're the Necromunda CIA. But we might actually be in contact with the 40k version of Aboleth or the Reaper's progenitor race from Mass Effect. Plus, we got sick eyewear.
Would love more Necromunda videos! Definitely would help out the players in my Necromunda campaign I'm running who aren't 100% privy to the lore and universe.
The escher death maiden model with the big headpiece and veil is just so feeaking cool. Could make a great slaanesh conversion. Or maybe a sylvaneth one
NICE ONE WES!!! I mean while I am an absolutely huge Space Marine fanatic, on all the channels nobody ever does any necromunda and the gangs are freaking awesome and the whole backstory is awesome and it's just like its own little pocket universe that not a lot of people know about, I mean I know about it but I'm just glad that you're letting other people know about it so they understand how freaking ridiculously insane some of this crap is! LOL😂😂 Great vid as always, keep them coming, and Much Love and support from N.Y.!!!
Late comment, but I enjoyed the hell out of this video and would love to see more Necromunda content. My favorite parts of 40k lore are the parts not wearing power armor.
Necromunda is the best game in the 40k Universe. I used to play a few different gangs; Delaque, Cawdor, a Ratskin gang for a while and Spyre Hunters. Spyre Hunters were FUN. Enforcers always looked fun to play. Would love to see a video on the non-gang entities you can/could play in Necromunda. Best thing about this game was that for me as a kid I could have multiple gangs and still have spent a lot less than I would have on a single army in 40k. I wonder if that has anything to do with GW sidelining it?!
@@PelinalDidNothingWrong Yeah I'd love to see them put out some really high quality terrain and models. Now I'm older I'd happily spend the money. With the Ash Wastes stuff especially they're doing some really cool stuff.
What I like best about the description of house Delaque in the book, is there are about 4 paragraphs, each containing a conflicting history. And each paragraph finishes with, "this is a lie."
Thanks for covering this was always curious with the different houses, also if you live in necromanda your roommate is likely to be junkie called spinshanker.
Love this! I hope theres a decent amout of horror in necromunda, ive never paid to much attention to it and pretty much assumed that Necromunda was a catch all term for hive citys
I'm reasonably new to Necromunda lore but as a M:tG Grognard I've got an immediate soft spot for House Delaque, since they come off as the alternate version (and I think by the timeline, predecessors of) House Dimir, who I root for every time we're thrown back to Ravnica.
I rarely comment on videos but i can not stress enough how much this interests me. I've always loved your warhammer videos (they are the reson i got into the franchise at all) and I would absolutely adore it if you could take me and all the other fans like me down another amazing rabbit hole in the warhammer genre. P.S. pls make more necromunda maybe, pretty please with extra heretics on top.
Necromunda always struck me as a planet-bound Rogue Trader that could have been an entertaining role-playing game. The game group I was in at the time used the little lore and Twilight 2000 rules to do this at first, later moving to GURPS and having lots of fun with the Necromunda world lore. Yes, please, on more Necromunda videos.

I was totally into the original in the 90s, and was overjoyed when they brought the game back.
And the new edition is even better.
Escher was my first gang, Van Saar are my present besties.
I for one want more Necromunda content! It's refreshing.
I'm quite new to the hobby but I love listening about other games like this. Hopefully we can see more videos about it!
Your smile makes me smile and I appreciate your happy vibe whilst I am being embraced by papa Nurgle.
Defenitely sparked an interest in Necromunda for me! Would be very interested in more content on this lore
Listening to Weshammer hammer out that lore while I smoke a bowl and assemble minis is an 11/10
Dude Delak and Van Saar are so cool. I'm 100% gonna have to pick up one of em and give it a shot
A video about the other Necromunda's gang would definitively be interesting.
It’s a shame it isn’t as loved because it’s a bit easier to get into a game as you need far less models
Would love to hear more about the gangs of the underhive! This game need more love
Love this content Wes, can’t believe I found it so late. Could you do more necromunda lore videos, on things like the Palatine enforcers, iron head squat prospectors, or ash waste nomads?
Really interested to know more about the other factions and whatnot ! If you want to make more videos about Necromunda Im all here for it !
I love Necromunda as its as close to an 'average citazen's life as we are really ever going to see in 40K. Also want to see more squats.
Woooo necromunda! Great models from there. I love getting a them as proxies for killteam or 40k
Hear me out...Tarkov...But Necromunda Underhive...
😮 plz continue
600 usd
Shit, Fallout 4 but in Necromunda. Would own all.
I'd play it in a heart-beat.
Great video as always Wes. You should definitely keep covering Necromunda. It's a super interesting part of 40k.
Would love more Necromunda videos! Definitely would help out the players in my Necromunda campaign I'm running who aren't 100% privy to the lore and universe.
This is your BEST video yet brother! Keep at your grind.
The escher death maiden model with the big headpiece and veil is just so feeaking cool. Could make a great slaanesh conversion. Or maybe a sylvaneth one
YES, I love these longform videos, always super interesting, bless up Wes.
Damn, WesHammer calling out the "cultured people" that are interested in House Escher✌️🤣
Dear wes, my life ain't going great but your videos always calm me down thank you so much
NICE ONE WES!!! LOL😂😂
Great vid as always, keep them coming, and Much Love and support from N.Y.!!!
I loved this video topic, and i learned so much lore i had no idea existed, even as a lifelong 40k fan! Thanks Wes :)
Late comment, but I enjoyed the hell out of this video and would love to see more Necromunda content. My favorite parts of 40k lore are the parts not wearing power armor.
I would love to see more necromunda content, just getting into the game and I can’t get enough of it!
At least GW seems to be outputting some really good models for Necromunda
Nice! I've really wanted a good look into the necromunda side of 40k. Thanks Wes 💪
I'm glad I used Escher Gangers as my EC Cultist Mob. They definitely have a Slaaneshi edge to them.
Very glad you covered this and would Love to see more attention given to Necromunda!!! ❤❤❤
Somehow I've been waiting for this for so long but never knew it til this moment. Lol
Loved this video! Keep 'em coming, please!
Great video Wes', please for the love of the Emperor do more on this subfranchise, it is criminal that it's not that much developped at this point !
I always thought a unifacation war table top game would be awesome, love me some technobarbarians. Necromunda does a good job scratching that itch.
