    Idk if it was just me
    But from :22
    Where she swing in the knob to the ball downward angle
    To then going through the drills with Matt and it translated very well at 5:30 t drills/ angled soft toss at 6:50/ stride drill 8:29/ to more toss at 9:12-9:17 best swings!
    Phenomenal vid/ coach work/ n player work!

    What a difference from start to end. I know you put up a side by side but I went back and watched the first swings and you can see a difference. I really liked how you explained loading and the drills used for that. She works hard. 4 hours?! Ouch.

    Hello Matt there is a young man in Kentville . Nova Scotia. Canada. I saw him last year hit a homerun out of a field which is 325feet in the corners at 14 years old. His bat speed is amazing . The kid has great bat speed from behind like the great hitters.

    Matt, do you think lack of core strength could explain the slow time to impact from launch/front foot down?

  • @rslwannabe9475
    @rslwannabe9475 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think shes starting her swing a little bit before her foot gets fully down.

    Yo Matt - Any tips for things to focus on / drills to run to get away from a arms / jerking my shoulders open swing, to a more hips and legs based swing?

    I have to say, if you swing with that much if a dip in fast pitch softball, you’ll never hit a rise ball. Big difference from a baseball swing

      I see the best hitters in the country swinging slightly up through the hitting zone

    Hey Matt. Great video. Just curious...in baseball the ball is going DOWN to the catcher. In softball the ball could be going UP to the catcher. Because of this would the softball swing plane differ from the baseball swing plane. Thanks!

      @AntonelliBaseball  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      When I watch the best hitters, a good swing is a good swing. Baseball and softball are the same.

    I need some help or some advice if you dont mind. Im a switch hitter. Im a natural righty and so its my power side. When I bat lefty I hit for better average and am more accurate with contact per say. When I hit righty I have trouble with either waiting on the ball or making good contact for power. How can I change that? Obviously im not all about the longball, because lefty I focus on getting on base but righty is when I want one to go over.
