    Love it, i ordered 3kg of natural farm grown large and medium sized garlic this morning.
    I eat 1 clove a day.
    Can't wait to try these methods of fermenting.

      I know I'm a year late 😊 But if you could tell me,where do you order your garlic from? I've heard that over 80% of the garlic sold at stores comes from China(which bothers me ),and I prefer to get some grown here in the States and maybe even organic.

    Black garlic is my absolute favourite garlic.. expensive but tastes better than candy.

    you shouldnt fill the jar up as full as she did. Burping the jar is important too

    So you can also add more garlic to the jar ? But do you top up the honey & can you use organic if can't get raw please?

      I like to start a new batch. I don't know why you couldn't add more but I don't.

      @@SowingProsperity thanks making new batches sound best as the honey is weaker in the older batch as its fermented down & it could possibly spoil it 😉

    DO NOT use a metal lid! I made that mistake and it ruined all of my garlic that I peeled for an hour and the expensive honey I bought. It all ended up tasting like metal. Just use plastic top, our put a layer of wrap over it before putting the lid on. Hope that saves others from making the same mistake!

    What will be the effect of using minced garlic instead of whole garlic cloves in the fermentation process for honey fermented garlic?"

      My guess is it would turn into more of a mushy paste. I’ve not tried it but will look into it! Let me know if you find anything. 😊

    Sir, do I need to wash my garlic cloves after taking these? Is there any problem in the fermentation process if washed? And do the jars need to be sterilized? thank you.

      Everything as clean and organic as possible would be best.

      It takes about a month to ferment. Make sure you "burp it" Lift the lid to let air escape. I've had some in the pantry for years.

    Make sure you do not use chinese garlic which is grown in sewage water and is high in heavy metals...

      I chop up the garlic When I put it in and they turn brown and ferment very quickly within a month. Because you want all that juice to come out all the medicinal properties to come out of the garlic Is there any way to Test the ph or whatever for safety everybody's concerned about

    Do the measurements needs to be the same quantities?
