4 years ago i punched the wall too hard and experienced a lot of pain, thinking i broke my hand, it wasn’t broken and the pain went away but shortly after a small soft one appeared on my wrist like in the video but right in the middle, i have read that smashing it comes with a risk and surgery is better avoided - at the beginning it was softer and over time it became stiff, now i found this video and im thinking about smashing it with a book but I’m not too sure if i should risk it
What if it is small and not moving? it's located in the center joint in the wrist, it hurts when I use my hand or on the desk for a while! If it's not a gland then what is it? I think it is close to the bone
Mine doesn't move, my dad said it might be a calcium deposit but I'm not sure. How harmful is it to me if I don't get it treated? How painful is the procedure? Is it ok if I leave it alone?
Mine has a lot of pain, very difficult to do push up or put any sort of pressure through my palms. When I move my fist towards the ground with palm facing downwards I see a very tiny small bump at the centre of the wrist and it also hurts a lot if I put pressure on the bump. Doc said to ignore the pain and only solution to remove this is surgery but that too won't guarantee to get rid of it completely. I really want to do my gym but this pain is effecting it a lot. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Hi to the wonderful knowledgeable human being, my mom have the ganglion cyst on her wrist too. the consultant doctor advices numbing on the hand area for surgery on the 1st session of consulting. Then, on 2nd session consulting, the numbing changed from hand area to whole body. I mean is it necessary for the full body numbing? Hope that i can get some comment from ya'll

Today, my 15th days with ganglion cyst. I have about 2cm and became thicker about 3 days ago. I worried now. I tried with turmeric, lemon grass boiled and drink empty stomach morning and night. I wonder this is working or not. I wish do not use any injection and like people say, perhaps may come back again, after that. Some people does, If I have something prove to make it smaller. I will text here again...
Does it work or not please tell me.
I had one on my right wrist near the base of my thumb. My chiropractor told me what it was and that if it didn't cause discomfort or pain it didn't need anything done. It was there for years. Not long ago it went away. I thought it might be because I made some diet changes for other reasons. Then this morning when I woke up there was one on my left wrist on the back of it right where the wrist bone bump is. It makes it look like that wrist bone bump is larger than usual. It doesn't hurt even when I push on it. So I guess its there until it decides to go away.
Its easily movable or less movable
I have a lump more to the middle and is not mobile but it limits me from bending my wrist back do you know what this could be?
I just realized i've had this thing for years and the pain is on and off. I never realized that it's liquid In there and friend would always ask "what the hell happened to ur wrist why da bone sticking out cuh"
“Cuh”😭
what if it looks then same but dont move? please guide I got one a week ago. what the fix it hurts too.

No but i have alot of scar tissue that is taking time to go away

Hi guys just joined Ganglion Club🥰🙏❤
Thank you so much for authentic feedback guys and helping me understand not to go through surgical procedure since it's reoccurring thing.
I rather let it the way it is, although it hurts bad once I accidentally sit or stand on my hand.
Had it since I was 13, hasn;'t bothered me until I realised I can't do handstands with it.
Exactly same i cant even
I stopped using anti perspirant and after 16 years of having it it started to disappear on it's own. Over the 16 years I had it surgically removed and it grew back. I had it drained multiple times until the liquid solidified and I could no longer drain it. I went from doctor to doctor and nothing. Then I stopped using antiperspirant and within 2 years my cyst went from the size of a grape to the size of a lentil and it is still shrinking. It makes sense because the cyst pitched up after I turned 14 shortly after I started using anti perspirant regularly. It might not be the cause for all of them but might be for some. I would still consult a doctor to ensure it is a ganglion cyst. If you are struggling like I was it may be worth giving up anti perspirant.
Please reply I have the same concern. What was the reason @Magnificent1393
Mine as well....how is it now brother?
I have something on my wrist but it's kind of hard and bumpy. A doctor said it was a ganglion cyst but now I'm not sure because it's not moldable.
Hey, did you find what it was. I have one one week now, it is in the volar side of my wrist but is hard as a bone and not movable. No pain
Mine doesn't move, my dad said it might be a calcium deposit but I'm not sure. How harmful is it to me if I don't get it treated? How painful is the procedure? Is it ok if I leave it alone?
See your doctor
Ganglion or gouty or rheumatoid arthritis, lipoma or ......
Are u ok
I JUST got this right now but its small what does it mean 😭
I can’t even do regular pushups cuz my shit hurts when I bend it 90 degrees..
samee i feel like my whole wrist is gonna break from the pressure
Mine has a lot of pain, very difficult to do push up or put any sort of pressure through my palms. When I move my fist towards the ground with palm facing downwards I see a very tiny small bump at the centre of the wrist and it also hurts a lot if I put pressure on the bump. Doc said to ignore the pain and only solution to remove this is surgery but that too won't guarantee to get rid of it completely. I really want to do my gym but this pain is effecting it a lot. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Is it normal for a ganglion on the wrist to be hard? Like a bone?
It's possible yes

Hi to the wonderful knowledgeable human being, my mom have the ganglion cyst on her wrist too. the consultant doctor advices numbing on the hand area for surgery on the 1st session of consulting.
Then, on 2nd session consulting, the numbing changed from hand area to whole body. (Doctor says cause it involves a lot of nerves of her body and includes the bones adjustment too).
im very concerned that is this something that i should be worry about? I mean is it necessary for the full body numbing?
Hope that i can get some comment from ya'll
Since nobody commented on this, Is your mom good now?
If I get it treated, will it be back again? Is there any permanent solution. Beacuse I can't do pushups and other exercises properly, it hurts.
I have a dent on my wrist and the bump is that normal
I do too
i don’t know if the bump on my wrist is a cyst or not, it doesn’t move around like that and almost feels like a bone. It’s very painful when i bend my wrist down and up, but you can only notice the bump when bent down. Do you believe it can still be a Cyst

I think I have this, I have a weird super painful lump in the back of my hand and I can’t really move my hand without almost tearing up or screaming. It hurts so bad. My mom won’t listen to me, I feel so helpless. It’s too painful to even brush my hair, worst part is that it’s on my right hand.
I had one for 6 months, it didn't hurt but I decided to smash it with a book. After 3 month it appeared again. I smashed it second time. It appeared again for the 3rd time, and now it hurts so much, I can not do push ups for 2 months already :-/ it seems that I shouldn't smash it 🤦♂️
Same. But I didn't smash it. By putting some pressure on my hand or playing volleyball helped me 2 or 3 times to get rid of it. But it came back again and again. It's so annoying.
