my drill took my hand round too far a few times one year and since then ive had such bad lolipop wrist my only option was surgery, which i didnt go for due to work commitments not affording me the time off for recovery. my work around was weight lifting wrist supports, using a nail gun instead of using a metal hammer and use a nail gun every time i work (im a carpenter). the only thing that seemed to help was bouldering which i failed to stick to. im so glad i found this video... i just tried these with my resistand bands and its almost an immediate improvement... i'll stick to these and hopefully be much better off for it. thanks dude!

whoa thanks for this! I "injured" my wrist over 10 years ago breakdancing and the bone jutted out. Went to a sports doctor, did xrays etc and they could not figure out why. There was no pain just annoying lollipop. Would get occasional soreness if I put too much pressure on the one wrist and it doesn't have as much range of motion as the good wrist. Good to finally get an actual explanation! Will try out these exercises!

I am checking out your kombucha mentioned in notes. I have been drinking for decades. But most in America, jumped on the corporate consumerism train, more about money, mass production, then actually helping heal. I will connect on instagram. I do my best stay away from social media. I’m in OC Calif

my hand doesn't go up when I push it though, it also doesn't stick out from the side. plus it's always been like that in both sides. Like I can make it slightly smaller if I press my hands flat on a table but it's still way bigger then when you push it up.

Didn’t know this was a problem…but my gains have been hindered by lack of wrist strength for years, and I could tell from my experience with muscle imbalances in other parts of my body that an imbalance was a contributing factor. A search for wrist strengthening resulted in my finding this video and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that I do have lollipop wrists and one set of his suggested exercises killed my forearms.

@@physioevangelist glad you appreciate this niche sport 🤣 yes I've been doing competitive armwrestling for 2 years now, it's very taxing for the joints and tendons 🥲 the body parts that gets injured the most are the wrist, elbow, and shoulder, so videos from physical therapist are very valuable to us 🤣

I had a huge fracture when i was a child...lot of damage that nearly cost my my right hand...and now i have a huge prominent styloid process...even my hand is going more toward my radius (unfortunately, i can't attach a picture on TH-cam to show the problem). I can't turn much my hand (like i can with my left arm) and my right hand is kinda unstable plus it hurt.
how could i strengthen the tendons with the limitation of movement i have?
I work out a lot so the hands strength are pretty strong...but i would like to reduce the pain a little and improve the right wrist stability.

Huh... always thought it was odd how my dominant hands wrist had this, but my left hand doesn't. Maybe I injured it? I can already think of a good few times I did something stupid that really hurt for a long while afterwards that might have stretched the ligaments in my right wrist.

Went to the radiologist and they diagnosed me with something called ulnolunate impaction syndrome. But the same bone sticks out for me. Will this work? They only treatment options they gave me were conservative use, steroidal shots or wrist reconstruction surgery
