Found you yesterday. I just got a freelance position as a PM and I find your explanations really consumable. I have followed you on several devices. You are really providing value and I feel so much more knowledgeable from just watching a few videos. I am going to try to go through them all and rinse and repeat because I start next week! I wanted to add that I have been winging it because I naturally know how to lead projects, but I want to be professionalized and you are a Godsend. Thanks. Mo
I heard about project management jobs from a friend at church and she advised me to check TH-cam and learn what it is about. Here I came across your podcast. I believe you mastered this job very well! I may have to listen to you repeatedly and take notes from now on. Great explanation!
Been wanting to start a career in project management but couldn't seem to find the right videos and courses. I couldn't even understand from the videos and write-ups I'd read in the past what project management really is about in terms of whether there are niches to focus on or what kinds of projects exactly that a project manager is required to manage. Thankfully, I stumbled on one your videos some days ago and I've been glued to your channel ever since. Your delivery is plain and simple to understand. Thank you for the insights I now have about project management so far.
Simply Wow! I have been a scrum master / project manager for few years already and I don’t realize How much I was doing but didn’t know the “formal” terms or Professional way of speaking or communication. I wish you were my mentor.
Project Management is interesting and relatable. Glad to hear. If you need any PM course or help, feel free to reach out to me. Contact details are in the description.
After viewing several videos, your teaching approach is very transparent. I grasped the information because I was familiar with the terminology through the videos and you brought it all together. You have an awesome technique.
Two questions: 1. How do I double like your videos?! So much value. I watch your videos with a notebook and pen ooo! 2. When are you starting your podcast?! New subscriber here. Appreciate you
Blow my mind. I have learned a lot already as a filmmaker who is new to this field and just found out that I do this already on those film sets. Let me go back and ask for more money abeg!
My first language is French. I understand everything you've explained. It was a fantastic moment for me. Now I'm your subscriber. And I am following you. Tk u
I'm in preparation of stepping into project industry on the renewable energy and constructional side. This was easy to grasp the first time. I will re watch this again so understand this role better. Thanks for your video Mrs Johnson
Just came across your channel. Thank you your clear details in your videos. I'm trying to make a career switch right now and learning about various careers is topmost on my mind.
Hello sweet heart your explenation was perfect after long time far away from my favorit subject tonight I really enjoy ..thank you so much from Iran ❤❤❤
Thank you for the lecture 🤠🤠 please help me with the roles of a project manager in the office? Hurry up please I'll be in a office any time soon as new project manager with a certificate but without experience 😂😂😂😂😂
I am just new for your project lesson channel and also project concept but start to share initial knowledge from watching thise program so thankyou allot for your effort keep up it .
Thank you Ogaga for this detailed teaching. I never knew that documenting lessons learned is an important aspect of project management. I often document lessons learned from any venture I undertake which helps me improve on the next. My question is about the project lifecycle. You explained initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and finally closing stage. What happens to the last stage which is the delivery stage? Is it embedded in the execution stage?
Hi Ogaga, thank you for this video. You have given me the encouragement that I need to energize me for this career path. I am new at PM and this is a new journey for me. I am taking the PMP course now.
Wow just wow, I am an amateur and upcoming small contractor but just what I have learnt today has been so helpful and encouraging. Please can I be your student.?
Wow! Thanks so much , you actually making my journey in pm so smooth and interesting, please i will like to know any additional certification to easily attract recruiter on my application, though am pprospective msc PM
1 Please does project management involves anything like small scale business or it just based on construction or big scale business. 2.What is also the use of a laptop for project management
Hi Ogaga, This is Imran from Pakistan. you can count me as one of those who very frequently follow your videos. I have a small suggestion for you and is that your style of briefing about topics is very good but I think it can create trouble to understand for nonnative listeners. So, this is my two cents I hope this will give more value to your videos :)
Amazing run through for beginners. Very clear. WBS would of been another one to add. PMs use so many tools, can you share a video on the tools you use for timelines , etc. thanks !!
@@MaryFlavour-eb6ly yup, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is a project management tool that takes a step-by-step approach to complete large projects with several moving pieces.
@@italiangspot wow !!! I can see you're a senior PM from the use of your diction. I am a beginner, just finished my Project Management course, will have to sit in for certification in a few months ahead.
Hi, you mentioned something about room size being adjusted and I believe you called it scope ensuite!? I don't believe I heard your pronunciation correctly. Could you confirm please?
For example, if you're working on a clean/green initiative, a positive risk could be the possibility of securing a subsidy to pay for project resources. Positive risks are opportunities that could occur and positively impact the project, while negative risks are threats that could occur and negatively impact the project
