Wow, reflectively, I have been delivering project outcomes without even knowing. This is excellent information. Your enthusiasm and excitement are very contagious. I am signing up soon my Mentor!
You just earned a subscriber and an addict to your videos. I just got an admission to persue Post graduate cert in Project management. You are my first Mentor
You just gained a new sub, I studied Environmental Management and haven't gotten a job yet so I was asking God what should I do now?? And he gave me the answer by leading me to your video, thank you so much for the information. I hope I'll be able to use project management in the environmental sector as well or whatever I'm led to do in the process
I'm so glad about this. Project management is needed in the environmental sector including oceans. There are lots of opportunities especially with the current world focus on net zero by 2050.
Thank you so much ma’am, This is such an eye opener. Reflecting on my day to day activities as an MLS, I never knew I have been delivering projects. With this, I think I have gain the confidence to start my PM journey professionally.
Wao, such an eye opener from my oniovo😊. But I just delve into pm without experience. You talked about basic tools, i was hoping to hear Primavera software, you didn't mention it. Cos in my learning group, this is the tool we're using. What do you think?
This was so inciteful. How does one go about finding a mentor without any prior experience in the field?? Do we just you know politely stalk potential mentors on LinkedIn???
Thank you so much for sharing. Your energy was contagious😂 I’d love to tow this path from being a class teacher and your mentorship would be of great value. Once again, thank you ma’am for sharing with so much energy.
Good day , The video you made is really insightful and educative . I want to be a project manager and i’ld like you to be my coach . I need to be guided on every step . What must I do ? Thanks .
This a great piece, I have learnt some important tips. So what about the CPM (critical path method), Gantt chart and Pert method? Are they not methods of managing a project? Meanwhile can you be my mentor?
Thank you for these great tips! I'm starting out in project management, and I would like to know more about PM certification programs you recommend. I'm taking the Google Career Certificate in PM and a CSM training now. I think these will be a good foundation that will allow me to pursue the CAPM and the PMP certification after that. I also love coding and software development, but I'm not sure how PM can complement that. I'd love your advice if you have a chance. Thanks!
These are good certifications. I always recommend the PMP as it's globally recognized, accepted, and the "standard" for project management. You can be a PM for software related projects. This way you come in as with both PM skills to help deliver the project and technical skills to provide expert advise and help the team resolve or remove technical depth or issues.
Been stuck on your videos. Thanks for the info. Setting my foot into the door at the moment. I am a member of PMI Toronto chapter. How do I reach you? I need you as my mento walahi 😂😂😂😂😂
Hello Ms. Johnson, I am currently attending Arizona State University finishing my B.A. in Philosophy and minor in Communication. In addition, I will be beginning my Masters in Project Management this May. After having completed my education, would I qualify for an entry level PM role or position? Or will I encounter an up hill battle landing a job?
I just came across your video ma🥹, really inspiring. But I have a question, do I have to focus on a particular aspect of pm? Or I can be a general project manager
Loved your video. Thanks a lot. I have a question btw. I have 6yrs of QA experience in a Gaming company in India. Now i am doing a PM course in Canada. Will those years of experience count if I apply for PM Job in canada ?
You're welcome. Glad you loved it. Yes, identify the PM related experience in your QA experience and highlight them in your resume. Those years of experience are valid and should count. You can do it!!!
