The slightly manga/anime-cartoonish art-style, the warm colours, the beefy announcer. the arcade-like music, and all the Street Fighter and Capcom fighters legacy being revived through it constitute a great Capcom fighting game - and my personal favourite. On the technical side, it has amazing depth, and is open to creativity; while the demanding execution is the ideal seal: if you can do it you can go that much further, if you can't you can still play very effectively in a simpler manner. And all the different playstyles, from neutral and footsies, to all-out aggression, or a solid defensive style; everything can work. Characters played uniquely, and players each had their own style. To me, a remake of IV, with ArcSys-style graphics, refined balance, and some tweaks here and there is a dream game; they could just keep adding characters for decades.

Those were some good days
9:26 i was honestly waiting for justin to activate rufus ultra 3 when the video slowed down lmao
Glad to see that even justin was surprised that there was no rufus ultra 3 aka the eg special
I agree SF4 is the Greatest fighting game ever made
Yes it’s the GOAT just like Marvel 3 is the goat! The time when we have SF4 and Marvel 3 was the goat era of fighting games
SF4 definetly goated. of all the modern SF thats my favorite and the game i was best at.
Sf4 and third strikenare amongst the most hypest and most memorable fighting games
Street fighter 6 and tekken 8 are amongst the most hypest and most memorable fighting games.
damn, the nostalgia really hit when seth said stinkyboob
Ultra Street Fighter IV made me a Street Fighter fan I ended up really loving many of the characters and world, when the SF 30th Anniversary Collection was announced I was excited as it was my chance to play the games I missed out on, really loving Alpha 2 and Third Strike especially. Though if I’m going back to Third Strike today, I’m playing Online Edition on my PS3, and I’m playing Super Turbo via Ultra Street Fighter II on Switch.
This was the game as a kid that truly sucked me into street fighter and made me come as far as I am now I always go back to this and third strike
SF4 is like that very simple game but the focus attack mechanics make it so complicated, I'm sure if this game didn't correct the inputs to roll specials it would be one of the most difficult games in history
Sf4 was the first game I’ve ever played as little kid, still play it to this day 😁
There's something about the SF4 sfx that just hits the right spot in my brain for some reason
I went from Alpha 3 on PS1 to SFIV on Xbox 360. It felt amazing to finally get back into SF - I ended up buying every iteration of it. I was utterly hooked on playing it online, even if I was far from being a good player 😅. Towards the end, I was more than happy if I could maintain a 50% win rate..
NGL USF4 had the only roster where a ton of characters got tons of love, between Justin with Rufus and Fchamp with dhalsim. This game is was a starting point for a lot of us
When this game gets rollback I'm gonna be playing it nonstop.
15:04 i cant be the only one that same exact reaction as justin lmaoooo
Awesome Content. As a Dhals main I really enjoyed dis. Yis.
Evo should put SF4 back as main competition. SF6 really boring to watch
SF4 def. had the best mix of highly demanding execution and "good enough" stuff you could do. There was always something to optimize + character specific combos were more prevalent. Also don't forget the extra set of normals every character had, which allowed Capcom to give every character just more to work with in each situation.
I love how it looked, but I never really could get into it.
SF4 still the best tournament videos of the FGC on TH-cam, no SF gets Hyper than NLBC Dr smuggles duff city 😂 Santhrax salt and all that good stuff.
This game aged like fine wine to me. Everything {except for like Elena and some of the unblockables that people started finding out later on in the game's lifespan) would have me playing this over what we have currently if more people still played offline
I wasnt a gamer when SF4 came out. That line up...its so good. I see all my fav SFA3 character in there...I think i want to buy it....
"IS STREET FIGHTER 4 THE GOATED STREET FIGHTER GAME?!"
always has been.
Great video like always!
11:24 Daaaaamn, that takes me back like a decade, the peak of FGC weeklies IMO. R.I.P. WNF and Big Two 🫡😩
Justin will never forget that SF4 lesson I got with you showing me the way with Rufus
Big fax as far as the ultras are concerned. CQC, Teiga, Mosou Renge. Just better.
SF4 (All Editions) is the best and I would’ve never gotten into fighting games (Also MvsC2) without it. Adon is my fav and I always watched Gamerbee. (Gamerbee vs Infiltration Grand Finals) Solar Eclipse has my favorite stage music also. The moments were much more memorable tournament wise as well. Infiltration was killing it back then.
I really like the announcer for this game
YES, IT IS!
never clicked a video that fast
After watching a bit, it's sad that the connection forces you to play on training room only. The stages in this game are pretty damn sick! Specially the one with the hippos
Yes it is, but people insist in d-riding 3S for some reason.
3S and SF4 are both REAL Street Fighter games!!!
The 3s driding is crazy, even alpha 2 was a better game.
that "on line to ny" sent me BACKKKKKKKK! i love seth in sf4
Sf4 was my first main sf. It will always be my favorite. Vega for life!
Seeing those missed Gouken combos broke my heart. Still love this game so damn much.
I would like the Evo organization to add USF4 to their main lineup in the near future, just like they did with Third Strike this year
