There are a lot of exotic cars out there and one-off specials and things like that, this one seems truly unique and actually has exceptional performance
I’d be willing to bet good money the reason the rotors are all the same size is due to production cost. It’s much easier and cheaper to use a different size caliper and master to adjust braking bias than it is to make an insanely long time to make and expensive ceramic rotor. Always neat to see how manufacturers solve cost and availability issues with expensive hard to make parts like that.
I'm a development engineer for the company who designed and manufactured the ceramic discs for this in the UK. And also the upgraded ones on the Senna GTR. Let me know if you have any questions about the manufacturing process, its quite interesting if you wanna nerd out..

@@Fastvoice I LOVE that Porsche but just looking at some of the section times run by private Senna owners has the estimates at 6:39 to 6:45. I seriously doubt it will be a 6:3x time but it is a stupid fast car.
This car is capable of low 6:30s or even sub 6:30s This thing beats GT2 RS MR in every track they have been tested on Idk why people say it can't beat GT2 on Nurburgring It definitely can if Mclaren tries
At the end the way the windows designed gave me an optical illusion that made the car look like it was moving when it was just sitting still and they were talking about. This car is nuts in absolutely everyday and I love that McLaren wasn't afraid ti make something so entirely bonkers.
I’ve never changed my opinion on a car more than the senna. I’m still team P1 but the senna is crazy for existing and I think it looks great depending on the spec. Thanks for sharing this experience!
If I was able to get one of these. The one thing that I would have done is the livery of Aryton Sennas car on the bottom and the top half would be his Helmet colors of White, Yelloy and green and black
Really happy you tested it, amazing car. Still ugly but still the fastest track car made to date I believe. I disagree about the Senna seats, however, I own a 600LT and ended up getting the comfort seats because after testing the 600LT around Mosport for several laps my back was killing me
Cool car you have! It's weird how some folks suit different seats. I know Parker gets along with his seats, and he has a bad back! Glad the comfort seats work for you.

I felt like you guys were hauling it more in the 765lt and the Ford GT. Do you think that the slightly lower and possibly more manageable power to weight ratio allowed for you to pace yourselves quicker with more confidence or could it be that those cars are significantly less expensive, so you drove this more carefully?
Interesting point & I noticed as well. Would love to hear from them, though my guess is the suspension setup of the Senna (being so track focused) is a bit too stiff for those roads, so it probably feels a bit to bouncy / not as confidence inspiring when going so fast?
For a road car speed yes the Senna and 765LT are close. At the limit the Senna is faster ss shown by track times. The big difference is driving enjoyment and engagement
Correct on the engine Matt, the Senna has different turbos compared to the 720/765, a different intake, and different pistons but in effect the same 4.0 short block.
The Mclaren Senna is the Disaster Area of supercars. ;-) From the Hitchhiker's Guide entry on Disaster Area: "Disaster Area are a plutonium rock band from the Gagrakacka Mind Zones and are generally regarded as not only the loudest rock band in the Galaxy, but also as being the loudest noise of any kind at all. Regular concert goers judged that the best sound balance was usually to be heard from within large concrete bunkers some thirty-seven miles away from the stage, whilst the musicians themselves played their instruments by remote control from within a heavily insulated spaceship which stayed in orbit around the planet - or more frequently around a completely different planet."

it looks good from the front view, from the side not pretty but aggressive and imho OK
Don't think so 'cause lift-to-drag ratio must be insanely terrible here. Don't think that the chassis would pass FIA's top class safety requirements too.
In the off-chance that I'm ever cross shopping a Senna and a 765LT, I think I would lean towards Senna for one reason: the looks. Every other McLaren looks like any McLaren (post MP4 12C).
