    I love this recipe so much. It's become my go to when I'm super starving and need something quick, easy, and delicious. Thank you soooooooo much for posting this. I couldn't believe how amazing it tasted, with such simple ingredients.

    Just made this! I only had a purple onion on hand so it came out slightly purple; but soooo good!! I added a teaspoon of nutritional yeast as well to the mix for extra “cheesy” goodness. I think next time, I’m going to sauté some mushrooms and add them to the sauce when mixing into the pasta. Yum! Thanks for the quick and easy recipe!

    My son is dairy-free and I've been looking for ways to make creamy, cheesy dishes but all of the vegan creams and cheese I buy are just not good. I'm hopeful this recipe will give him back the satisfaction he had when he was consuming dairy. My son is 15 and has eczema. Going non-dairy has helped a ton so we're in the process of learning how to replicate the dishes he used to love but non-dairy versions.

    only change I make is instead of 1 cup water I use 1 cup of home made hemp-seed and oatmeal milk and add a couple tablespoons of nooch as required by vegan law. Just as good if not better than regular Alfredo sauce.

    Finally one that doesn't use nutritional yeast, that stuff is gross and makes me sick. Will be cooking this tomorrow!

      @@TRedng1234 little gritty, maybe I need a better blender but I'm really sensitive to texture. Taste was great

    How many calories for the sauce may I ask? 😊

    Does this sauce actually taste like diary Alfredo sauce?

      I think it does! Let me know if you try it.

      @@DetoxinistaRecipes It turned out surprisingly well! I was skeptical at first that a nut-based sauce could taste and feel like a diary-based sauce, but it totally worked! I’m definitely going to make it again. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

    I’ll be damned! Just made this 😋 soooo tasty and similar in taste to heavy cream.
    I blended in grilled zucchini and a little cooked turkey bacon 🥓 too.
    Thanks so much for this video!

    Hi there,
    Do the cashews need soaking?
    Thank you

    • @DetoxinistaRecipes
      @DetoxinistaRecipes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't usually remember to soak mine before it's dinnertime, but yes, you can soak them for up to 2 hours in water and then drain them if you'd like to!
