Why does she need to know the third amendment? It’s not relevant to modern law enforcement. Cops DO go through training for the other amendments. The Third Amendment says you can’t be forced by the government to let soldiers stay in your home. It’s a rule for government officials. It doesn’t affect patrol officers.

Why does she need to know the third amendment? It’s not relevant to modern law enforcement. Cops DO go through training for the other amendments. The Third Amendment says you can’t be forced by the government to let soldiers stay in your home. It’s a rule for government officials. It doesn’t affect patrol officers.

A cop should at least know the Bill of Rights.
Not being forced to quarter soldiers in private residences isn't really applicable today, it hasn't been since the Civil War, but its still something a cop should know and be tested on.
