When the one military guy said "“I’m honestly afraid to get out," and the cop said "You should be." That was honestly frightening to hear. Mind you that this is when he was being told to get out of his vehicle. I can see why some people do not trust/are afraid of the police. To be fair, nations all the way down to you, who participates in the country are just culturally accepted mafias with levels of power. So yes, the town is too small.
EXACTLY !!!!! that's all that needs to be said , hierarchy of jurisdictional command , city is bound within the city limits, County encompasses all the cities within that county.
Yep. A lot of people don’t understand the structure of law enforcement. Here where I live back in the late 90s. the police chief tried to enter an area during a disaster and exert his power to do so. The sheriff though had more power and denied his power trip. No one was sure why he wanted into the area for sure. But many applauded the sheriffs for what they did. When it comes to law enforcement. There are three levels. Cops which is the city Sheriff which is the county And troopers are state. When one doesn’t listen, you go up the power structure. The sheriff will make the police back down just as a trooper can make a sheriff back down. Each a jurisdiction with in a jurisdiction. 😅 Then of course there is federal…which is another thing of its own.
@@0pPotato Not 100% accurate in regards to the state trooper thing. State troopers aren't elected to my knowledge, and their process is more similar to a police officers in terms of how they're picked. It may also just be a state to state thing. In one state/county the way the power structure worked, if even the lowest ranking deputy showed up and wanted control of most situations they had it. Period cause they were hired directly with a sign off from the sheriff.
I think the reason nobody's talking about it is because it's not a slip. It was most likely deliberately chosen wording to show he considers the country important to him. Most of us most likely understand that instead of looking for boogeymen.
Technically the sheriff has more power in his county than any city cop. Should he have told the officers that there was some shit going down, probably. At least then the city cops would've known why he was flying down the road. The problem with all that power is that some sheriff's abuse it. That's why electing a good sheriff for your county is more important than any other office, even the governor. They don't just enforce law, they are supposed to protect the constitutional rights of the citizens of their county. City cops are just hirelings of the state that take an oath to uphold constitutional rights, but not to protect the citizens rights. A sheriff is a constitutionally elected representative of the people of his county.

They are yet another example of power hungry police that expect you to drop all of your human rights and freedoms just because “they say so”. Absolutely not.. you are NOT required to do whatever they say without probable cause and those causes being explained. Police officers must be able to cite specific information that indicates to him that you have committed a crime. They cannot arrest you on a gut feeling or a hunch. If you want to be disrespected like this, then go right ahead but ask yourself this: What if it was your mom or dad they did this to?
you wanna know what's fucked up. if the officer wanted to involve the chain of command the lieutenant could have been drummed out as the maximum punishment.
@Jenkemprovides6531 Thats probably true. But 40% of police officer families self report physical abuse in the home. Vs the 10% of non-officer families. Im a combat veteran. I would trust my life to a random homeless person over a cop. 40% of homeless people are also vets, and I know those homeless folk will have my back over ANYTHING. But 40% of cops ADMIT to abusing their families. And plenty more hide it. When I can have more faith in homeless people than cops, there's a problem with the way policing is done.

When it comes to law enforcement.
There are three levels.

3600 is ok amount for pepper spraying. I mean what you want, 10k? or 20? or 500 like other demented people suggested? I mean no permanent damage, just uncomfortable and sore eyes. If they gave 50k for unwarranted pepper spraying, there would be tens of thousands of people testing LEO nerves daily in hopes of nice salary. I even bet there would be people doing it professionaly. 3600 bucks for 3 hours of deescalating pain.
@@lordtachanka8255Seriously, just goes to show that the officers were willing to destroy him.
A cop says “you should be” when the soldier says he is afraid to get out. Just shows how disrespectful and on power trips they are.
Being “afraid” to get out is not a defense. This is why he lost his lawsuit in all three courts he filed it in.
*he is 😊
@@GiambisYes it is. There was no reason for that . He lost because the courts and judges here are all corrupt and good ole boys that protect each other. If it was me, and I was the Army man, I wouldn’t have complied either. He didn’t even know why they were being so aggressive.
If you want to be disrespected like this, then go right ahead but ask yourself this: What if it was your mom or dad they did this to?

you wanna know what's fucked up. if the officer wanted to involve the chain of command the lieutenant could have been drummed out as the maximum punishment.
lol ikr
Yeah... what a way to prove how moronic he is.
Thats what he does when hes got all his bondage gear on at night being walked on his masters leash while getting pegged
what an absolute scumbag he is
The fact that even cops treat each other this way should tell you all you need to know.
Yep! TOTAL DIRTBAGS!!@ 😂😂😂
What the fuck does this mean
It tells you they're dealing with corruption all day long and become corrupt themselves. Humans are imperfect people.
I've seen civilians do worse to each other with my own eyes.
@Jenkemprovides6531
Thats probably true.
Oh my God i never knew i needed cops threatening to arrest each other in my life😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Videos like this prove cops need WAAAAAY more regulation and stricter screening of recruits. A lot of those guys shouldn't have badges and are too unstable.
Thats just at hiring, they can also go south say 10 years down the road.
The hiring process for most places is actually really strict and scrutinized pretty heavily. Problem is there’s no recurring screening or scrutinization for cops during their career. This varies state to state.
No point. They hire these people intentionally.

Swat being called without the police chief's knowledge is fucking insane
And the suspect being a former cop, too. Unless it was suspected that the Chief was part of whatever they were busting.
Sheriff overrides him. Also, didn't you hear them say city was notified but they failed to respond.
@@Chris-D9if that were true he'd know but he clearly didn't, this is common amongst other agencies.
