On TVO's new show "Old Enough!" (www.tvo.org/ol... ), little kids run errands for their parents, venturing out into the world alone for the first time. In reality, most parents today wouldn't dream of letting their four-year-old head out by themselves. Do kids today have enough opportunities to develop independence and resilience? Or do parents stifle their kids' growth when they try to protect them from all harms?
