That was magic will listen to it again and again . As an old mech from years back that man has captured everything I’ve ever felt the difference of from cross ply tyres to radials. Through the feel of roller centre of good reasonable and deadly monsters. Even now I still use a lap timer on a local empty track with an old zip kart and two Honda 160 engines to get the old feelings back. Thanks for letting me listen to warm malaises flow with true understanding of petrol being burned efficiently.
I love your interview with Rob. I'm suprised more folks have yet to watch this video. I think Rob has a way for putting complicated matters and explain them in a way that anyone can understand. From various videos, I've seen him repeat the same topics he's been asked over and over and yet he sticks to his guns and tells like he always has. It must've been a pleasure to have the most sought after Driver Coach tell you all this one on one. Keep up the good work. 👍
Interesting to hear Rob talking about one of his passions and still enjoying his tea and cigs. I met Rob a few times in the late 1990s when he was using MIRA as a training circuit, a nice guy and apparently a cool bass player.
Interesting how he notes the articulation of what you are feeling. As a bit like trying to explain how you tie your shoes to someone else, its very hard slowing it all down. My friend had to take classical dancing when he was a boxer to concentrate on his footwork and where his hips/torso were before he used gloves. It's interesting looking at other drivers explaining an incident even if you can't hear what they are saying you know a drop of a shoulder and their posture illustrated what they felt even though they were in a 6 point harness and Hans device. Rob should come back again sometime
