    This video is made from heart and soul. A video shows everyone what Taipei has to offer from a connoisseur’s eyes.

      Indeed there's nothing like Taipei for me. I just regret I didn't speak about the kindness of Taiwanese people and the patience they show towards foreigners.

    I've only spent 2 brief holidays in Taipei, in 2014 and 2015, but I loved it. It's safe, clean, convenient to get around, and as you say the food is unbeatable. As a destination, it has everything: mountains, seaside, big city energy, neighbourhood charm, tea fields, hot springs, museums, live music of every kind, etc., etc.

    Sei Fantastico!!
    Per non parlare della sfida delle sfide la saliva degli uccelli...
    Il raviolo con dentro il brodo voglio ANDARE A TAIPEI CON TE..
    L università sembra Hawai ..nemmeno la spiaggia di waikiki ha tante palme alte e rigogliose cosi

    • @ThePathsBeyond
      @ThePathsBeyond  ปีที่แล้ว

      In effetti l’università è immersa in una specie di mega giardino tropicale. Quei ravioli con carne e brodo dentro sono da svenimento. Hanno aperto anche a Londra ma le ultime due volte che li abbiamo provati non erano all’altezza di quelli di Taipei, mentre gli altri piatti si.

    Tu as gagné une abonnée de plus car tes vidéos sont supers intéressantes. Ma fille intègrera l'université de Taipei (NTU) en février prochain et nous irons la rejoindre en Avril pour visiter cette magnifique île!! Je continuerai à vous suivre avec grand plaisir!!! Merci

      J'adore Taiwan, en particulier Taipei, et cette université est tout simplement LA MEILLEURE. L'été est cependant très chaud et humide. Dis-lui de ne pas apporter de sacs en cuir qu'elle aime beaucoup car ils s'abîment.

    Thank you for the video! I have never been to Taiwan, but I was surprised to see all those different dishes and recognize the influence from SE Asia and Japan in their cuisine. I just wonder how different those dishes would taste in comparison to the "original ones".

    • @ThePathsBeyond
      @ThePathsBeyond  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They're literally obsessed with food. It's not only very good quality, but accessible and absolutely the number one reason to visit Taiwan. It's really a tasting experience

    • @ThePathsBeyond
      @ThePathsBeyond  ปีที่แล้ว

      There's an interesting book recently published from Clarissa Wei ("Made in Taiwan...") where she explains why TW kitchen even when making the same recipes of mainland China tastes different, for example because of different condiments (influenced by Japanese 50 years rule on the island). You'll find articles on Guardian and also some TH-cam
