Is it for the price? My 2018 F150 Crew Cab did 0-60 in 5.4 seconds, and 4.0 seconds once I put a supercharger on it. My 2004 Jaguar XJR did 0-60 in 4.6, and my current Tesla Model 3P does it in 3.2 seconds. For the Porche name tag and the price of this thing, 4.2 is actually very unimpressive.
@@Cruor34so a heavy luxury sedan with a 6 cylinder turbo is 2 tenths slower than a supercharged F150? I’d say that’s pretty impressive for a BASE model Panamera.
not impressed. our new 2025 X3 M50 does 0-60 in 4.1(advertised 4.4) has 393hp and 428ft lbs tq. And gets 25 mpg city 30 hwy. Handling? IDK, but I bet I'd be all over the bumper of that porsche on a track. Now the higher trim models, might be a different story.
A great looking performance sedan with each iteration. I am glad Porsche has not gone crazy with the front end like some Beamers and Mercs. I would gladly take this over the 911. Roomy.
Yes, happy to see Porsche showing restraint over the craziness going on with its fellow German neighbors. This car will age gracefully and is the best looking Panamera in my opinion.
There is zero chance that a car weighing that much with that stated HP numbers should go zero -60 in 4.2 seconds by the standard calculations. Porsche as usual is underselling the numbers.
Once, back when, I snorted at Panameras. Now, Lord help me, I'd love to own one. The resale values are holding up better than BEV Taycan models and it's a more comfortable GT than a 911 (a car that often surprises new owners with the firmness of its near-zero compromise ride/handling).
@@PresidentJackBauer Yeah same. Problem is the maintenance and insurance on it. Although Id get one of the higher spec ones if I did it, if you get a Porche might as well really get a Porche.
Absolutely love this car. Its a real luxury sports sedan, equal parts of both. The V6 here is underrated power wise. But I think most German performance cars are that way.
The model reviewed here is very basic. The performance numbers are much better for the S and Turbo versions. I loved my 2011 Panamera S so much that I bought a 2023 Panamera 4S E Hybrid. It is an amazing car. And I can take my wife and friends to dinner in style.
Interior looks great and has a special factor. Exterior is hideous. Front end looks like a Toyota economy sports car, side profile has only the mirrors with the special design, and the rear end is just ugly with the light bar running end to end. For a little more, the Mercedes S class is a better buy for a lot more car with elegance and wow factor if option in the correct color combination.
Ugly as a mud fence. Too many electrical gimmicks to drain your bank account the minute it’s out of warranty. Stay away unless you warm your home by burning money.
A 4.2 second 0-60 for this huge sedan is impressive and I can respect the hell out of that!
"huge" is a stretch, that rear leg room and trunks looks lacking...

John its great to see you do great review !!! long live the King of car reviews !!!!
Love John Davis documenting his reviews very articulately! What a pleasure to watch. Most other car reviews won’t compare to this level of rhetorics!
They use an AI version of his voice FYI it was mentioned in the past in an interview
That thing doesn't even flinch! No drama no gimmicks just a respectable brutal launch!
I have a 2012 Panamera and love it overall. If I could afford a new 24 I wouldn't hesitate to get one.
Would you ever consider a Cayenne?
@@weirdshibainu I prefer 4 door sedans and hatchbacks over SUVs.
It's a shame how few of you are left. The suv/cuv takeover is depressing at times.
@@rossw5576 I agree. Crossovers and SUVs are boring, bring back station wagons too....
I think if I lower my cuv it could pass as a wagon.
I am not a fan of where the shifter is located.

Absolutely amazing 😍
The Arteon lives on thanks to this Panamera aka Panamerica
I just love that vehicle, it has always and always will be my favorite vehicle!!
Thanks for the great video!
This is one of my dream car!!!

Beautiful car! Now! Take two doors off and shrink it a little, and what you get! An awesome looking 928!👌🥰👍Now that would be cool.
Love the hatch layout, wish the regular 911 coupes had this. 996/997 targa did have hatch access to the rear interior, which was neat.
These depriciate faster than the market average.
If you can afford $108k for the base model you aren't worried about losing 1/2 the value when it comes time for a new car.
@Cruor34 but they all depriciate like crazy. If I could afford the maintenance and repairs I'd by one from 2019
Someday, when you get older, you can aspire to be average too.

3:00 Drivetrain
4:55 21 MPG, $105k+
Does anyone know are they doing a new years marathon like they did on christmas
"Vent by wire..."
German overengineering at its finest.
That engine is cool looking!
Looks the best of the three gens
Great car
$100k. 😂😅
Yeah the options this car has is at least 130k
Looks similar to the outgoing model released almost a decade ago. So I would rather call this Panamera a Gen. 2.5 model rather than a Gen. 3 one.
Time for a change Porsche.
Was gonna git one but decided against it when I realized it takes a full day just to wash the wheels and front end
A new generation? For a new generation it looks exactly the same.
I'd rather have an '03 LaSabre with the 3800
…….Yeeeeee-Haw!!! 😂😂😂
This is the base model!! The turbo 6 should be rated at 402hp to align with base Taycan power.
You mean a bigger turbo six? This has the 2.9 TT V6
Side sculpting like a Dodge Charger!
It’s cute but too expensive for me I’ll wait for another few years or so
A 2003 turbo 911 420hp 12.3
A 1500 pound heavier panamera 12.7 with 349hp someone is deff sandbagging the HP LOL 😂
2026 I Wish Porsche Make a 2 dr. 2+2 Coupe Version of Panamera.
The 4 version is “4” real.

I have a 2012 Panamera and overall I love it. The PDK is finicky in the cold but the car is so well built and what a looker.
I'd be ok with the AWD version of this model with some added creature comforts. My days of driving fast are well past me.
Station wagon?!
Nothing says luxury like opening the bonnet to a sea of plastic. Why do they hide the engine? Is it terribly ugly? Interior design is better, though.
Front end looks like an 80's Mitsubishi.
Püh Shahh Pa na me wah
Side view looks like a dodge charger?
Compared with Bmw M5, Audi RS6, Mercedes E63S, Tesla Model S, Toyota Crown, Hyundai Grandeur & Others Full size Sedan
Hyundai? Hahahahahahah guy let's get serious.....
I’ll take the Porsche. Best build quality and reliability
The Grandeur is a Luxury sedan.. Of course it is considered.. random nameless guy

❤❤❤😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉
The engine cover is the stupidest thing I ever seen on a sports car
gimmicks breaking down bricking the car in drei, zwei, ein...
Porche precision This vehicle driving dynamics defying physical law including speeding laws like the fact no scratch over boosted turbo V6
And still... ugly
Its a lovely sedan buy its not large. The 5 and E are bigger.
………just wait until everything breaks. 🤷🏼♂️🤔👎🏻
This guys voiceover is unbearable
Bland generic design, the lower front end is terrible looking
The face is worse now.
14 years 3 different models?
God dam too expensive for my likening.
