You broke this down so well! I’ve been hearing this a lot and thinking about learning but my issue is I have a hard time playing with both hands. I don’t have it nailed completely but this makes a great practice/warm-up! It’s really pushed me to play with both hands

I had the same issue, but a way to fix it is to learn Für Elise it really help me out, and I hope your journey become successful!

Try and focus on using the F# on the right hand to keep time. Think of it like the music coming back to that one point.

I came back to say, I’ve practiced this song ever since this video came out. I’ve finally mastered it and even added my own bits into it. I just want to say thank you and that now I can make all my friends freak out. The 3 notes back and forth on left hand and 4 notes on right hand repeating really messed me up for a long time 😭

I enjoy this channel a lot because there are a lot of songs here that are on simply piano, but the simply piano songs are in the wrong key. But all of yours are in the right key! I appreciate that.
I'm so far just learning the notes; my problem is synchronizing my hands and playing fast all while trying to figure out where my hands should go next 😅 hopefully it works out for me in the end

how to learn songs :
step 1: learn the song (be able to play it even as slow as a snail)
step 2:preactise each hand individually
step 3:practie both hands ( both hands is very different from one hand)
step 4:know the notes by heart if u need to think about it it'll make u not able to play
step 5:practise
thats how i learn and it works quite well

That's how music works.. This guy doesn't choose to represent notes as letters, they are letters.
At least he's not the channel who gives out random notes that play when they hit the keyboard lol
They're just notes. That's how piano works. Each key is represented by a letter a-g

Thank you for making these tutorials!! This is the first time I've watched you teaching us how to play GOLDEN HOUR!! Like everyone else in the universe, I cannot stop thinking this song. it had penitrated my very soul! I can't stop watching and listening to it. Yeah I took piano lessons as a kid but reading music was tough.🎵 I could NEVER sight read🎶
I had to think, "Every good boy does fine" and FACE" when learning a new song but....I could play ANYTHING if I heard it. The term, "Playing by ear" used to crack me up because I pictured someone playing with their actual ear😂 This song had some very easy parts for me but when he throws in those gorgeous minors to "play with" his impeccable majors... well... yeah. Need I say more? It gets complicated ya know? It's the most beautiful complicated song ever! So thankyou. I'm a new member of your family here in/on TH-cam!
